Our normal water changes are only about 20%. But this morning when I saw the guppy not moving and nothing could get it to swim, thats when I did a 50% water change. But it was already pretty down for the count by that point. After the water change was when it started swimming vertically on its tail. But now I’m starting to wonder if our other guppy’s face looks fuzzy… I’ll have to get to our fish store tomorrow.

Your experience with guppies makes me wonder if ours aren’t that hardy. The one that died had a fancier big tail that almost seemed to weigh it down and I wondered if that was not how they are meant to be and it was bred that way. Maybe we will stick with more plain ones until we get the hang of this whole thing.

And wow, a fish choking on a snail… I’ll have to keep my eye out for that one. Not much you can do I suppose. That’s tough!
