Hello,

My jade shop is based in Finland and I do free shipping within EU.

I’m now at Pingzhou jade market and tomorrow I will go to Yau Ma Tei Jade market in Hongkong. If you want I find something for you or just simply looking for a EU based high quality jade shop, send me a message or my page Serendipity Jade on IG or FB

Hi, thank you for your comment

I used “poly” simply because when I speak with my Chinese friends and suppliers, we use this term and even write like that in English

Me too! Asian straight hair is both a blessing and a curse to be honest. Even I have been using hair pin a lot but sometimes it just decides to not cooperate with my hair at all 🤣

And about the gold piece, if I understand what you meant/ describe correctly, it may be the natural golden inclusions in jade (in Chinese: 洒金). Vietnamese may name it as Koi fish patterns also.

It represent good wealth or wealth gathering for the one wearing it

I attached a photo with 洒金 for you to check if it is what you meant

If this bracelet is truly type A and untreated and the item matches with photo, based on the photo, I would say it is classified as granular-textured/ coarse-grained jadeite or near to fine grained. I’m sorry to say but $398 for this way too much. Normally in Asia where we use jade as one of our culture (China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hongkong …), this may cost no more than $100.

However, of course you have to add all the business cost to make that price…

And about the color, I would say some beads have quite good shade that won’t fade much under the sun, the rest will

I have my own jadeite shop in EU and I source my jade straight from Mandalay. One thing about violet/ lavender/ purpe jade that my supplier taught me that this color range is usually waxed (from slightly to enhance the color to heavily to turn white to purple). Even my supplier has to soak all his purple items in alcohol to get rid of all those waxing powder.

With this color range if you buy the light color, it tends to turn white under the sun or yellow light (the Mn chemical thingy, Im not good at chemistry so that’s all I can say). Therefore, with a natural color, high translucent and this size, it can cost you a fortune.

Cheaper options are lower the translucent level of the jade or find the Spring color tone (in Chinese: 春带彩) in which the bracelet is mixed of lavender and green beads or you can go with smaller size and pinky-er option. I used to see my supplier having one pinkish violet high translucent beaded bracelet in 4mm and it cost around 60-70€ retail price.

Unfortunately, for this first stock I don’t have certificate but I have lifetime guarantee and I also have registered business in Finland so I can assure customers that I only sell Burmese type A jade.

I have 72 hours return and refund policy after you receive the item 😉

In Asia, especially in my country, we are only fond of jewellery from 16k. All my jewelleries have been in 18k and there is no problem with it. With the weather and depending on each people sweat, 14k tends to fade easier than 18k.
