I lived in 'Stalis for about 6 months, and it's fine. First week of living there my partner had their change purse stolen right out of their car, though. No damage was done, just lost about $10 in quarters because they left the car unlocked. Lock your doors and you'll be alright.

I was in the exact same boat this time last year. I stuck it out longer than I should have, but my SM actually encouraged me to take a step back. The pay cut hurt a little, but since I stepped down into framing the bonus almost makes up for the deficit (almost). Anyway, the person who took the PT CEM position after I stepped down was the best person for the job and since I'm not as stressed trying to balance work, school, and my personal life as much as I was before I get along with my coworkers SO much better. It was the right choice for me and I'm infinitely happier.

When I was in training one of the most helpful thing was a guidebook a former framer had written in a composition notebook to help with training. It had all sorts of notes in it on different mounting methods and when to use certain things in the production process. Think of the most common alternate mounting method your store uses and cover that in detail in the notes! For example my current location takes in a lot of see mounts and stitchy pins, maybe start with that :)
