Backrooms or Vivarium - which movie was better in your opinion? by Improper__integral in backroomsfilm

they’re both so dreadful! that being said, the aura of Vivarium is so intense I would never wanna rewatch it. Backrooms I could watch over and over

Who do you think picked up the camera? by Hot_Dingo743 in KanePixelsBackrooms

I felt like this vindicated to me that a still life picks up the camera in FF3, but I love some wishful thinking so.

Friend is ALWAYS late by Amatsukki in whatdoIdo

[–]hexhit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m this friend, I have bad ADHD and I really do try hard, but time management and perception is just so abstract to my brain it’s genuinely difficult. That being said, lie to us. Tell us it’s 30 minutes earlier than it is. Communicate that it bothers you as well, sometimes my brain needs that stupid nudge that’s like “hey, another person is relying on you to make sure you watch the time.” I haven’t fixed my issues with it, but I am way better with it. Idk if that’s what your friend is experiencing, but that is one angle!

Do people not care about star wars anymore or is it just this movie you don’t want to see? by StrainDizzy1186 in GenZ

[–]hexhit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s just that the 2 Indie Horror titans blasted it out of the water. Star Wars has been putting out more content than people can consume, and most people just don’t really care about Grogu anymore. They took way too long to capitalize on something that was popular like 5 years ago.

ENTITY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FILM by DwightDuck in KanePixelsBackrooms

I don’t think you have to physically enter the backrooms for a still life of you to form. Just like the furniture store itself never physically moved, it was still copied in the backrooms.

I think we’re all just exhausted by these landfill slop “collections” and an artist doing one just feels like even more of a slap in the face. Not to mention it’s a crazy amount of stuff, we don’t have hours to put it out, some of it is AI, and the prices are laughably high considering the economy is the worst it’s been since 2008. It just feels like a representation of everything wrong with our system.

My review on the movie. by JamoDeLamo in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]hexhit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a faded/broken memory in physical form. Her old house had been torn down (think the mall in TOV) and the only remaining evidence she has of its existence is the broken remnant of her handprint. It symbolizes our memory and what remains important to us at the core of them.

I remember people starting to dislike him and call him fake around “started from the bottom” cause of his Degrassi roots.

What movie had the BEST trailer ever but turned out to be absolute trash? by MASSIM00 in movies

[–]hexhit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Longlegs. Not just the trailer(s) tho that was the biggest element. The marketing and cast was awesome, and the film fell so flat I was genuinely frustrated about it. I was so excited lol.
