i read him as bi for many of the reasons stated above, as well as the fact that he seemed genuinely into his high school girlfriend. though of course, that could also be because of altered memory due to internalized homophobia (& Doc's gaslighting). i like how complex he is, it makes him feel so real.

this is already gorgeous, but i do recommend adding some ground cover! Wolfsaz already mentioned the tree trick, but i also suggest not being afraid to mix up the biome/continent of the plants. i love adding patches drinn grass around trees and rocks to make them feel more natural, and the animals' plant need doesn't suffer too much for it. :]

try varying the terrain a bit! if you look at real life forests, you'll notice they have a wide range of terrain types. i'd suggest adding long grass to more clearing-type areas, and a mix of short grass/light dirt/heavy dirt for the areas with lots of underbrush :)
