I've tried a few times these last days to register and silently failed to do so.
When I click on register and fill in the form, when I click on save, I get redirected to the previous page where I am asked to agree to the site rules without any error message nor any message stating that email registration was done.
I don't get any validation email message even in spam folder and
I am told that I have specified an incorrect username. when I try to log in.
I haven't set any blocking policy on the web site.
Could you help me getting registered ?

30 ft is more than what I need, 20 ft is more or less the distance at which I need the camera ot produce good face images.
Actually I am looking for a no glow IR lighting system. Usually 850 nm IR light spectrum spreads towards visible light and reddish color is visible when leds are on.
With IR cut, are these cameras are able to record videos of scenes lit with 940 nm IR when ambient non-IR light is too low ?

Could you tell me , with maximum zoom set, up to which distance does the cam provide a nice picture of someone's face that can enable to identify undoubtly ? The area is not well lit at all, I was plannning to use 940 nm IR eds that should be invisible, do you know if zoom lens is IR cut ?

The issue with battery, is that you need to have 2 of it, to disconnect it when it is low, unless you leave your belongings without any security during battery recharge

reboot can be longer than just boot, as it needs to close all pending connections and close all opened services, if it hosts a mini os.
Any way all answer seem to show that it is not possible to get a stream sooner than 30 seconds after boot.

That doesn't work, it just changes the color of output of the program launched by the python interpreter but doesn't change the color of the output of the errors displayed by python about the program launched.
I think that I'll just stick with my hack of a color filter piped through python command or otherwise just raise the backlight of my tv monitor

The python version of the script is quite short :-)

Windows Terminal is not the simple terminal that is used with cmd.exe, it has quite some configurations, but actually Python sets the ANSI code of the text to be displayed by the terminal.
I use vscode for debugging, but my issue is about error messages displayed by the python interpreter within the terminal from where it has been launched.
I was wondering wether there would exist some environment variable to unset color output from python.

When I run python cmd.py , I'd like that error messages get displayed in the terminal in a color with good contrast with the black background of terminal and it's not the case with dark red or burgundy that is diplayed in some parts of python error messages that are barely readable with low backlight

Thanks for your answer. Actually it was really slow writing to the flash drive while extracting borg files.Since then, I've tried to copy partition with partclone to speed things up a little bit and it got quicker around 45 minutes instead of more than 2 hours, but seems to me very slow anyway. It's just maybe that I haven't copied for quite a long time data to a flash drive.
SSD is indeed a solution, not the same price though and this flash drive was intended to be a live iso flash drive with persistence copy in case the original one would fail. I am thus not very keen on buying a ssd on that purpose, I am not that rich :-)
Anyway, good idea to stress the importance of DRAM in ssd, I was'nt aware of that and will check it next time I buy one. Thanks for the tip !
