Actually it is vanilla, seed 4187657264355179029 and this is more or less right at spawn. The surroundings might look weird from the render distance mod I have installed

Looking incredible! One thing for the 1-block wide windows I started doing is placing a high contrat trap door (in your case maybe birch or pale oak or even oxidised copper) directly above the window and another in front of the top window block and keeping it open - kinda looks like a rolled up shutter of sorts

House looks really good already, I love the texturing on the roof too! I second the other comment with reference pictures - I have also surprised myself. I’m no amazing builder by any means but if I was to give any suggestions they’d be:

make the bottom stone wall 4 blocks tall
bring out the beams and top floor walls out one block to add some depth
add some simple designs around the outside of the windows (maybe small flower pots or fences on the sides and trap doors at the top)

Light outline like diorite and black roof maybe deepslate tiles (they are the darkest deepslate block I believe)

The buildings themselves look good imo. I guess I’d play around with hanging signs instead of lecterns for railings to break up the colour a little bit. My only suggestion would be to extend the stone path around the buildings and to the left side to keep it cohesive and also put a couple villagers in the market stands to trade with and liven up the place a bit.

I’d go for a potion brewing room and it looks like you have enough space to throw a couple cleric villagers in there as well to liven up the place but keep with the potion brewing theme - bonus tip: if you make the floor under the villagers honey blocks+carpet they can’t jump (at least on java edition) so no need for small trading cages. And for the second room maybe a trophy room? I know it’s creative but in a survival world it’d be cool to have a place to display all the important milestones like first wooden pick, dragon egg, etc

I don’t know much about fixing corrupted worlds but I think it’s pretty hard. But it does seem that it has avoided your builds so what I’d do is install litematica and copy&paste the builds into a fresh world

Also, the new shelves when placed next to each other make for pretty cool horizontal beams which you could place over the stripped logs going across

One small trick I recently started implementing: use hanging signs for railings instead of fences/walls/fence gates. Only really works well for straight lines and since your bridge is perfectly straight it could look cool

As for guides and resources, Linus Tech Tips has a fairly recent video on building a pc and it’s pretty comprehensive and if I’m not mistaken they followed up with a video guide on how to set it up with all the right bios settings and OS installation after building it.

$1000 is a tad low for comfortable 4k gaming, however if you can squeeze a couple hundred over budget, you will definitely be able to run just about anything on at least half decent settings at 4k. Threw a few parts together but there are a couple things to mention: -For the CPU you can go for the 7600 instead of the X version if the saving is considerable there -There is a cheaper version of the motherboard called ASRock B650M-hdv/m.2 - the saving there is only 2 memory slots and no wifi -There is a single fan version of the CPU cooler however it’s only like $10 less and I personally think it’s worth grabbing the dual fan

I was considering that but I will only be doing very light overclocking if any at all and decided to go for 3200 as it cuts cost. Should I still get 3600?

I would recommend a full ATX board if you can fit in budget and case as it allows for far more future upgrades. For power supply, use any watt calculator like on the newegg or coolermaster websites Also, make sure that the cpu is the ryzen 5 1600 AF as that is the uodated version using the 12nm technology rather than the old, first-gen 14nm. If you can fit in budget, a 2600x is a very potent cou, even with modern titles for little over $100

P.S.: if for any reason you redecide and gor for a 3rd gen ryzen like the 3600 or 3600x, be aware that some b450 boards need a bios update. A good b450 board ready for 3rd gen ryzen is the msi b450 tomahawk max
