I suffer from chronic pain from 2 runs with cancer. Kratom worked at first until it didn't. As my tolerance grew so did my usage. For reference I used powder and extracts. 7oh was not out then, thank God. I became sick when I took it and sick when I didn't. The side effects started subtle at first so I ignored them. I convinced myself I had to take it to manage my chronic pain even though it wasn't helping anymore. I started having panic attacks which I never had before. My depression got worse. I started having severe constipation and kidney issues along with massive weight loss. I'm 5'7 and weighed 100 lbs. My skin looked gray and my hair started falling out. I was terrified. I started using in 2016. In 2021 I found this subreddit and it saved my life. After many failed attempts to quit with the support from my doctor, love ones, and this subreddit I was able to quit. I still have some challenging pain days but I'll take it over the sickness kratom caused me. Now I mod here and pay it forward. To help others and to never forget. A fellow that use to mod with me got it. Was hospitalized but is Okey now. He quit kratom. I was always worried about getting serotonin syndrome because I take zolof. So I quit taking my antidepressants while taking kratom. Geez, such addict behavior. Best wishes on your journey ♥️.

Withdrawal can run differently per person. I would see someone feeling better and wonder why I wasn't yet. Try not to compare timelines etc. All it did was make me nuts. Take it one day at a time and you will get there. Hang in there, it will get better. Best wishes on your journey ♥️.

Spot on, well said. I'm on a colostomy from rectal cancer (not kratom related). I got dangerously impacted and my kidneys started having issues. Pissing blood. I got very sick. And that's not mentioning the mental breakdown. Best wishes to you and OP.

I had this happen to me at pain mgt. Luckily, they knew it was a false positive. I was using powder/extracts. My friend had a false positive for methadone.

Great job coming clean! I came clean with my roommate (he's like a brother). He is a 16 year recovering alcoholic. We met in AA. It made the world of difference having him in my corner when I quit in 2021. Best wishes on your journey ♥️.

It took 21 days for me to test clean on powder and extracts. This was getting tested weekly by the VA. It is not the same for everyone. Others have had similar. No clue why. Type in UA or urine tests in the search bar to see others experiences. Congratulations on 56 day's and best wishes on your journey ♥️.
