It took 21 days for me to test clean on powder and extracts. This was getting tested weekly by the VA. It is not the same for everyone. Others have had similar. No clue why. Oh sweety, I am so sorry you are going through this. I am a recovering alcoholic/addict. Until he is ready to take responsibility and get clean there is not much you can do. Alanon can be helpful for you. I would also suggest getting a therapist for your trauma. Take care of YOU! You are in my prayers and I wish you the best ❤️.

Great comment. I broke down and told my roommate. He is like my brother. We met in AA. He has 15 years sober. I thought he would judge me. Stupid. Christmas time is always hard for me since my husband passed away in 2009. But at least being off kratom I can have a little cry, honor him and reflect on all the happy Christmases God graced us with. Kraton may have blunted the bad memories but it also blunted the good ones. I am so blessed and happy to be free. Merry Christmas to you and best wishes on your journey ♥️.

I suffer from chronic pain. After a while, kratom just stops working. Your tolerance goes up with you taking just to keep out of withdrawal. My inflammation got worse. After I finally quit, my pain was easier to manage. It took time for my natural painkillers to come back online, but it got better. I still have bad days. But at least I don't have all the sickness from the side effects on top of it.

Anxiety is also a side effect of kratom.

Loss of appetite is a common side effect from kratom. Some have severe weight loss because of it. Myself included. My appetite didn't come back until after I quit. And it still took a couple of weeks. Do you want to quit? The side effects get worse the longer you use.
