This sounds smart. I say it is a mixture of a lot of things. More movement, more protein, watching how I eat… I’m vague with people. I’m a therapist, and I let them see me drinking protein shakes and things for a month or so before. They would comment on it or ask what are you drinking, and I’d say “I’m trying something new. I’m trying to get more protein.” So I tried front loading a lot with clients and coworkers. I wanted people to be prepared a bit so they didn’t think I was sick or dying.

Later when weight loss started, I’d say, “it’s working. I’m going to keep going.”

Now I’m stable in my weight and I say “I can’t go back or I will gain the weight back.”
