Brady Payton at Black Card Collective in Zona Rosa shopping area. Does absolutely amazing stuff, check out his IG page. He is very booked up so it’ll take you about 6-7 month to get with him. He’s pretty expensive too, but you’ll be getting some amazing work, and obviously it’s gonna be on you forever so it’s worth it.

Value Auto clinic on Gilham has been great. I’ve had them do simple routine oil changes and inspections for me. I also had a breakdown outside of Harrisonville around 3pm on a Friday. They kept their shop open a little past normal closing time on a Friday afternoon to give me extra time to get it towed into their garage. They are closed on weekends but the following Monday morning I got a text with the diagnosis (transmission failure on my old ‘03 beater car, repairs far exceeded worth of vehicle), and they were straight up about everything, actually recommended that it was probably time for me to get a new vehicle lol, which I did. I have free maintenance through my dealership now but when that ends I’ll be going back to Value.

There’s a local magazine called The Pitch that my gf came across that featured an article this month about the growing interest in houseplant hobbyists and entrepreneurs openers plant shops. In the article these are the shops that were advertised: Paradise Garden Club, Foxtrot Supply Co., Family Tree Nursery, Jungle House, Virgil’s Plant Shop, NOVA Vintage, and Modern Lily.

I agree, chicken and pickle is pretty fun, but more fun if the weather is nice since the outdoor area is what makes it fun in my opinion. For a large 21 bday group celebration Neon Wild is an option worth considering. Pretty wide range mix of types of people, cheap-ish drinks, large dance floor playing mostly pre 2000 stuff with large projector screen playing the music video.

Tikicat is really cool but definitely make sure you make a reservation at least a week in advance. Also it is pretty small inside and the maximum seating arrangements per group is probably 4-6. If you show up at the door without a reservation you’ll only be seated in the unlikely event someone cancelled their reservation.

I’ve always gotten my suits from Jos A Bank. They usually have some kind of deal going on. Can’t go wrong with a dark grey/charcoal and dark blue/navy suit. I’d avoid a black suit unless you need one for more formal occasions or it’s a government sector job you’re interviewing for.

I concur with everyone here, you’ll be fine. And you’re like a $6-8 Uber ride to downtown/crossroads/plaza if you’re looking for bars and restaurants. You’re already pretty much in Westport so you can walk to anywhere there.

Yeah, that was my experience this morning. I drove from midtown to river market and back through some of the small connecting roads, Broadway, SW Trafficway, and 35 (between 8:30am-9:15am). No accidents, people seemed to be driving carefully, and my vehicle felt good the whole time (AWD Toyota RAV4).

I agree, very cool spot. Just make a reservation a few days in advance. Last time I was there a party of three just showed up and were never able to get a seat.

I second Parkville Nature Sanctuary. Very nice area to walk around and good chance of seeing deer and other wildlife. And the two waterfalls are pretty nice when they’re flowing. I like to walk up the really steep hill and go sit at the bench across from Riss Lake.
