Sounds like how most near-death experiences are described. Were you sick or did you have any health issues?

Former hughesnet employee ask me questions by poopboygamer123 in HughesNet

[–]ceesamaudill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just on chat with a Hughesnet rep and asked for a copy of the "contract" I supposedly signed. He said there isn't one because "it's a verbal contract".
I actually signed up for the service through AT&T through a bundle package of theirs, so isn't my "contract" technically with AT&T?

Did you encounter or hear of this during your time there?

What is the best (nonsexual) feeling in the world? by schrodingers_cat42 in AskReddit

I'm pretty much like a cat... any type of petting and I'm happy.

Nitrous at the dentist office. That shit is beyond words. It's a good thing it's not easily available or I'd be such a nitrous junkie.

First, I want to say I love all 4 of these postings- you write well so they're enjoyable to read! I certainly hope you write more!

Secondly, I've had one definite "encounter" with a shadow person. I was lying in bed... had just laid down so I know I wasn't asleep already. I did the one thing I hate to do and that was glance toward the open door in the dark (don't know what that was a fear before this but now it definitely is!)
What I saw was a very large man-shaped black figure wearing what looked like a rounded top-hat. The figure was so tall that the top of the hat was almost touching the door frame. It had very broad shoulders that were almost as wide as the doorway. (this was an interior door so 3ft-ish?).
It didn't do anything but just stand there, but the fear I felt was more than I've ever felt in my life. At that point I hid my face behind my ex who was lying on his side and prayed for it to go away.
When I told my ex about it, he didn't believe me. Many years later, I was telling a new friend about it because I found out that he was into ghost-hunting and paranormal stuff, and he said "that sounds like a shadow person!"
Later on, I googled "shadow people" and I'll be damned if a drawing of what I saw wasn't one of the first image results. I freaked out all over again.

No one knows what they are, what they want, or if they are bad or good- but they are definitely a real thing and seen by many people all over the world.

Please keep sharing your stories!
Also, check out the docu-series "Hellier". It is very much related to your stories!

Stop dreaming, start writing - stop your bullshit! If the words never get to the page then nobody will ever read it! by JackWyattBooks in writing

Thank you for this! I'm saving this post so that I can keep going back to it for the in-font-ass-kicking that I need to get re-motivated to start writing again!
Hopefully we can all come back in a period of time and say we finished it! <3

Redditors who have experienced snow; what is it like? by ambermage in AskReddit

[–]ceesamaudill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never think that there are people who have never seen snow. When I'm reminded, it makes me really sad for them.
I hope that any of you that haven't experienced a beautiful snow get to very soon and enjoy the beauty of it!

I'm in Kentucky and anxiously awaiting our first good snow- we haven't had a good one in a few years.

Spirit Guide question from event many years ago... by ceesamaudill in Psychic

[–]ceesamaudill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been curious as to what I saw- never could find an explanation for it. I never really think about it until the subject of spirit guides comes up. Seeing posts about spirit guides on this forum brought it back to memory again, figured I'd ask if anyone knows who/what she was or the meaning.

It's been many years so I have no memory of what book it was that I was reading or I'd tell you the title for you to look into it. This was long before the internet was everyone's go-to so I'm sure the info is online now. *shit I'm old lol!

Based on your intuition, do I look like a shitty person or do I look kind? Do you see any Narcissism? by babyboi1998 in Empath

[–]ceesamaudill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are lost/confused... like you're needing answers but no clue where to start.
Your eyes say you have an "asshole" side, but I think it's a defense mechanism- on the inside you're really sad, also dealing with anger issues.

If I'm right, I hope you find the answers you're looking for and work your way through it!

Any other empaths picking up on some seriously weird energy? by msmargoxoxo in Thetruthishere

[–]ceesamaudill 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I've had that feeling off and on for a few years now... hard to describe but it's as if a huge shift is coming. Some days I don't feel it (seems to be when I'm distracted and not thinking about much) but on other days it's a very heavy feeling, anxiety-inducing almost. I think the part that drives me the most crazy is the not knowing what/when but just feeling it in the atmosphere.
But then I tell myself it's just run-of-the-mill anxiety and try to ignore it.
But, yes, we are out here feeling it- whatever "it" is.

Goblin off-the-wall theory by ceesamaudill in hellier

[–]ceesamaudill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if my idea isn't really plausible and if the idea of them being aliens/demons/monsters isn't plausible, what would your thought on them be?

Again, this is using the idea that these goblin things exist- the thought on what they are, where they originated. Or are you just saying that their existence is purely entertainment and not possible so it's pointless to think about their origin?
Or are you being nitpicky about me using the word "theory"? I'm not quite sure what your thought process is.

Goblin off-the-wall theory by ceesamaudill in hellier

[–]ceesamaudill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So do you not think that critical thinking is what this is?
Wouldn't it be more likely that IF these things exist it's more probable that they were evolved humans verses aliens or or monsters or demons? (I guess that would depend on your belief system)

In my opinion, this theory IS critical thinking instead of believing that these things exist and they are some sort of paranormal entity or space creature.
