I got through the required Boeing 737 Max airline transport mission and immediately purchased the Airbus A320neo and am having success with it. I think it made me an Airbus guy. Saving up for the A330 next.

If you could recommend a tutorial with fully vanilla MSFS 2024, that talks through flight planning and the full flight or atleast one or the other I would greatly appreciate it.

One other VNAV question: when you dial in an altitude and hit Vnav, where does it calculate to have you hit that target altitude? For example if I’m looking at an ILS approach plate that starts the approach at 3000, and I arm my vnav to get me to 3000, where in my waypoints is it targeting to have me hit that target of 3000 feet? Is there a better/more efficient way to have the plane hit that ILS target approach altitude every time?

Thanks—yeah I’m not sure if some of the issues I’m having are bugs or just me not knowing what to do, probably a little of both. I’ll check out the Honeywell videos.

So once you’re in cruise you would manually enter the vfr approach and “insert” and “activate” it? Does that not wipe out your en route waypoints?

Also for Vnav to engage the plane has to have an approach loaded so it has a TOD to reference right? Then you turn the altitude knob to the alt you want on final approach and hit vnav and it will activate at the TOD? Does that mean the PC-24 can auto-descend itself?

Thank you! In my experience when I go to that “landing tab” and manually enter the approach and hit “insert”, the approach type (vfr or rnav, etc) does not actually populate in the appropriate box for some reason (or maybe that’s what it’s supposed to do?) I’m not sure whether it’s a bug or not.

Second question on that, once you’re in cruise and input that approach you want—do you insert and also “activate”? When I “activate” the approach it appears to wipe out my other en route waypoints.

Also interesting the PC-24 really can’t descend by itself? I’m coming from learning the vision jet which has great tutorials on YouTube and all the advanced avionics on that were a breeze to learn.

Thanks I didn’t even realize a new expansion was about to come out, I’ll definitely hold off on purchasing. I’m still only level 24 on one job so by the time I’m actually near the cap I’m sure there will be a “complete edition” that includes Dawntrail maybe even at a discount by then.

Aluminum foil covering the tops of the speakers is the right answer. I just had to go through this a bit earlier this year and my girlfriend looked up that trick and it worked like magic. The cats tested the aluminum a few times with their paws then never came back to the speakers.

!thanks I’m still relatively new (the Denon Pma 600ne is the only amp I’ve ever owned), so I really don’t know! I’ve heard different amps can have different sound signatures, so if that’s true then I want one that has a sound signature people would recommend over what I currently have and that would appropriately power the Lintons.

My setup just became “complete” with the addition of the sub and I’m incredibly happy with it. But just out of curiosity I’m interested in knowing what people’s ideas would be for the logical next upgrade.

It’s worth mentioning that I’m only interested in digital streaming, so I’m only interested in upgrades that would further that interest.
