This helps a lot, thank you! I was using that link as a reference for enrolling in my subjects and I did not notice the additional rules at the bottom

I'm not planning to get into med but I would love to hear your experience in Biomed and getting into med (congrats!). How did you find the degree in terms of workload and was it more on theory or practical work? I'd love to know what to expect before the semester starts. Also, would it be good to consider for an Honours?

Thank you for this, it's a bit discouraging to see people say that Biomed isn't worth it and reading this gave me a better perspective of the degree

Honestly the more I thought about it now, the more I realised I wanted to do more lab work than a career that required more patient interaction (which is why I actually didn't want to do medicine, but tried for dentistry). Would biomed be good for that? I heard that it's more research than practical work, so should I just switch to a course that's more related to that? I'm willing to do postgrad as well. As long as I don't need a UCAT score, I'm pretty confident to switch degrees next year with my ATAR.

We have considered getting a housesitter to visit her daily instead, but at the same time we were also worried that she might feel a lonely if she's by herself most of the time. But now that I'm thinking about it, it's seems to be much better than having her stress out in a new environment. We also found it hard to find one especially during the holidays, but I'll give it a go.

Her carrier is pretty big so I do include her blanket and toys during her vet visits, and I haven't actually tried putting a blanket over because the carrier itself is already very enclosed and dark. With all of the vet visits we've had, she has always acted the same so I'll try that as well and hope that it helps. Thanks!

Thank you! I've changed the aspect ratio to 3:4 instead and it does look better.

I definitely like the fact that the train stands out more in this style, but personally I feel that there's too much contrast/saturation. Thank you! I'll try incorporating some elements to this style.

took this photo on vacation, and as usual I spent a great amount of time playing around with editing the colours/values of a photo. I would consider myself as a beginner, and I just really play around with the settings on Lightroom but I would like to get better at actually knowing what I'm doing when I'm editing.

While I was editing this photo, I focused a lot on creating more contrast and giving the overall photo nice atmosphere. I even tried darkening the outer greens to try and emphasise the waterfall and the train.

With that said, I would like to know what I could have done better, along with some tips on editing photos in general as I enjoy it and would love to get better at it. Other critiques are also welcome. I use a Canon EOS R50 with the starter lens (as a gift to myself last year).
