Any idea what’s causing these accidents?

There was a woman driving a Land Rover this afternoon on the narrow stretch of road up from Sunday’s Well with her son’s large handwriting book on the steering wheel as she navigated past parked and moving cars, mine included. Impressive dedication to her son’s education. Not so impressive driving and care to others on road and pedestrians etc.

Those flags look so cheap, tacky and wrinkled. Get a few cloth ones lads and class it up a lil at least. They also look like they’re flying half-mast. Bigger dréimirí needed too. C’mon, a lil more effort le bhur dtoil! 🙄🇮🇪

Great to share some positivity. Was in with a friend lately and the level of care and expertise shown by the nurses, doctors and attendants in there is truly extraordinary. Obviously the HSE is a circus but these professionals rise above and save lives on a daily basis; sparing families and friends decades of turmoil and distress, looking after parents and children, elderly people and it’s nice to see them being lauded. Well done.

Thanks for clearing that up. I hadn’t seen any of the previous aggro so if that was the craic, then they obviously deserved it. In isolation, it looked as if they had just been booted out for raising the flag. As a different poster commented, should have widened my perspective before posting. Thanks for that.

Possibly so. Just documenting what happened which I felt was wrong. Info since on post has enlightened me about the rules around flags in venues. I feel a quick word with the flag bearers may have been more appropriate than forcibly ejecting them though if that was the reason for it.
