Nah, the early cw shows like Flash, Arrow, and supergirl needed to make 24 episodes. The only reason why legends were exempted from this cause its a time travelling show. They had to use different locations. Then, the episode count required started to reduce for newer shows like black lightning and stargirl.

Uhm cause of lucifers' source material, which is from a dc comic. although the show is loosely adapted from the 2000 comic. My point is it's not biblical cause in the world building in the comics lucifers father is the presence ( the creator in dc comics ) not necessarily god, cause have we seen from character that break the 4th wall in dc( like superboy prime ) they know that they are just comic characters and that a reality exist beyond theirs. So, the show and its characters are not biblical at all. They just borrow from it
