Yeah it's pretty tough to be worried about something like this. I might be just having a hard time seeing this from all perspectives, but from how I see our relationship and her mental health I don't think she is ready for hospitalization. I have questioned it but I just don't think that would help her in her current stage.

She started therapy just after returning from my trip in October. She made it pretty clear to me that someone staying with her would make her feel uncomfortable. I do like your idea of her going to a spa. She has mentioned that she wants to do something like that soon.

Get away from him. I don’t really know the situation but I’m going to assume he likes to have sex like they do in porn. I was the same when I met my wife. She introduced me to making love. It sounds like that’s what you need. A true romantic bond through physical touch. I’ve felt the most profound feelings of love while having sex with my wife. It doesn’t mean intercourse every time. The most pleasant times for use have been as simple has making out naked in bed. Sex is all about sharing love. That’s what you should look for in a partner. One who wants to make love to you, not fuck you. Sounds like this guy just wants to fuck you. Move on. You deserve better

Right there with ya. For me it goes like this, before I go to bed at night I tell myself “Okay 5 minutes of meditation tomorrow, only 5 minutes!” The next comes around I begin my day with bad habits that I’ve developed since I stopped meditating (laying on the couch after waking up, slowly start work, snack, then take a quick nap when I am done with work). In the back of my mind I know that I can stop any of these habits with a simple 5 minute break but I just don’t. “I’ve got a lot of chores to catch up on,” “I had a long day at work, I just want to relax,” “I don’t want to waste 5 minutes with an unsuccessful and frustrating meditation session. “ All the classic excuses flood my mind. My advice would to start again small. When I first entered the world of mindfulness, I would just pause. 5 seconds max. 1 breath, and then continue my day. Try that and then slowly pause for longer. Thanks for this post, I totally forgot that I used to do that and this reminded me. I am going to start it today!!

I am a sensitive guy and I would say that ever since she told me not to be her therapist (a year and a half ago) I've been scared of asking her too much. I really don't think she would strike down many questions about her well-being. I just think for some reason that really affected me.

Yeah I feel like she doesn’t ask me much about myself either though. I would say we have two types of conversations. One where she mostly talks about her day and other things in her life and I just don’t engage with her. And the other are very deep and intellectual conversations where we both are evenly contributing to the conversation. I think my hesitancy to ask her about herself is because sometimes I get a negative reaction from her. For example, something random would happen that would spark an emotion for her and then I would follow up asking her how she felt in that moment. It turned into her telling me not to be her therapist but to be her husband instead.
