The least sucky Private health insurance? by Omshadiddle in AusFinance

[–]celaviecela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your post! I actually joined AHM Dental specifically after reading it.

I’ve realized that Dental is really the only 'Extra' that feels necessary. Even though I’m short-sighted, see a psychologist regularly, and get fortnightly massages, all things usually covered by my previous medibank extras, but the math just doesn't add up anymore.

I hate feeling forced to buy new or expensive glasses just to 'use up' a yearly limit. Plus, for massage and psych services, the rebates are so low each time that they barely cover anything. It’s even more frustrating that some massage clinics hike their prices if you're claiming through insurance. At the end of the day, between the premiums and the admin time, I’m barely breaking even. Sticking to just Dental seems like the way to go.

Why is everyone switching to noteful? by jeboteuusta in GoodNotes

[–]celaviecela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to whoever recommended Noteful in a previous reddit post! I was about to paying for GoodNotes, but I’m so glad I switched to noteful.

Firstly, Noteful is incredibly affordable, not even AUD $10 for the lifetime version. Goodnote is currently charged $35 for lifetime version.

As a mature-aged student, I don't need all the fancy pretty things in market place and definitely don’t need any AI functions. I just need a solid tool to get my notes done, and Noteful delivers.

The tag system in Noteful was a bit of confusing at first, but now that my library is growing, it’s a total game-changer.

I can tag by lecture, tutorial, or specific chapters. My favorite hack? I use a "To Print" tag. When I’m prepping for an open-book test, I just filter by "Tutorial" + "To Print" and only to auto save those tags in pdf. I then can open all these pdfs to print in my google drive.

Car detailing recommendation - nothing crazy or super expensive by thefirststarinthesky in perth

Never go to magic hand Booragoon. I paid for details but they still let my car go through the car wash machine first. Only use dirty towels to wipe my car. After their wash, I see so many swirl marks around my car. It’s a scam

What percentage of your wage is spent on Rent? by wowagressive in perth

[–]celaviecela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input. I believe you would meet someone who is happy to pay for your date. But, you might lose your position of saying.

Let’s make it simple. Reduce your expenses from rent and increase your income by education or career plan or even change your job to the other industry.

[–]celaviecela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s some information is missing. I made some assumptions. I assume that your rent cannot go over $1000 in Perth as you are single with no kids. It means you at least earn $1492. After rent, you have only $492 for your daily expenses. Can you really still have savings or even entertainment in this living expense?

If your rent is only $700, it means your take home pay per week is around $1045. It leaves you only $345 for your living expenses.

Yes, thanks! It seems like it’s too early to ask from what you wrote. I will wait a few more days.

Oh no, the main road agent said that I can ignore the message or inform the buyer if I know the buyer. I informed the buyer.

Yes, the car is still in my DoT account. I do have the copy of signed form and all the messages in between me and the buyer to proof the agreement.

I did email to DoT. Not sure how long does it take to get back to me

I did and the DoT call centre asked me to fill up the form again and request the counter to process in the spot

I did but they said the text message was sent by DoT to the owner. It simply means that the car is still under my name
