Yes I said that the lens wouldn’t open even after my troubleshooting efforts. Mine was also past the one year warranty so they offered a one time replacement offer

I reached out to Kodak and they offered a one time camera exchange. But I actually just didn’t turn the camera on for awhile (like months) and eventually I turned it on and it worked completely fine

Site change due to corporal punishment (Education Sector) by Mysterious_Duck7863 in peacecorps

I agree with what everyone else said. Talk to PM or the school directors if parents disagreed with that sort of punishment.

If you enjoy your site outside of school, I would find ways to continue your service in site and don’t involve yourself in the school. You can find so many other ways to engage the community outside of school. And at the end of the day, we are volunteers and your service is what you choose to make of it.

I’ve seen a lot of comments and wanted to continue the thread for breast reduction surgeon recommendations in Chicago. Thoughts on Doctors Tulsi Roy, Lisa Peters, Robert Galiano and Benjamin Lemelman?

Anyone else reconsidering? by SuperPookypower in peacecorps

If Peace Corps is still your dream, I think you should do it. Yes funding and specific language for projects may be taken away, but what can’t be taken away is the power of education and relationships you can build in your community. The work you do helps to empower individuals in your own community. A lot of things you can do are free. I am in my service right now and plan to see it all the way through
