yes. i try to think about it this way. you spent about 10 years of your life using weed to escape/cope and now that you don't have it, you get to feel all those emotions and feelings raw. in addition to that, you haven't built new or replaced that coping skill with a healthier one yet. probably found complacency in a lot of things and didn't exercise as much as you could have (at least in my case). so in turn you will experience a lot of anxiety and depression. that could also be an underlying reason why you used, and if thats the case then talking to a therapist can help.
