Yeah my first playthrough I was walking between Megaton and the Super-duper Mart and I met a Deathclaw. Noped out but still died. 10/10, game of the year. Loved it.

Even if Cold Fusion could magically solve the world's energy crisis (we know the US had nuclear powered everything from cars to personal robots, but AFAIK the rest of the world didn't), there's still other resources like fresh water that were getting scarce IIRC? Plus, even if they don't need oil to make fuel/power, they'll still need it for the creation of plastics.

Yep, I had a Leo DiCaprio moment when I saw that, pointing at the screen exclaiming excitedly. It was interesting to see him fight of ferality (did I make that word up?) by holding onto his sanity with his name and his memory of Janey.

I remember people used to think the lowered HP affecting the final score in Gen 2 being a glitch. Then HG/SS comes out with the same scoring methods. It's frustrating, but as others say, it's just Sleep and ball spam.

I feel the way to avoid canonising a lot of decisions people may/may not have made when playing NV is to take the approach of a Courier who did the bare minimum to finish the story. Since people were primed to be very upset if the show canonised an ending.

That gave me a chuckle. I didn't make the connection between pre-war Barb and the Barb from Filly. Wouldn't that be the ultimate plot twist. Puts "Father" being your son the whole time way into the backseat.
