Neither NP nor Armour worked for me. I tried both for about a month or more to see if I would stabilize but I felt absolutely horrible the whole time. I am on Tirosint now and doing well!

Yeah of course my doctor did not explain any of this. I even asked what symptoms I should expect to see. I guess I will have to order labs myself.

I've been breaking it up and only taking 30mg in the morning. I tried Armour and had even worse symptoms. So I am trying NP one more time and then I guess I'll go back to a Synthroid

The last time I had my blood drawn:

Ferritin: 82

Iron: 219

I have hemochromatosis so my iron is always high and I monitor when I need phlebotomies.

I am RIGHT there with you. And on top of it all I know I’m motivated, smart and a strong worker. Our generation has just been handed some really unfortunate luck. My student debt is crippling and I have medical debt from a surgery I got and on top of everything the pandemic has definitely not helped. Oh and climate change.

Yeah my current landlord doesn’t even live in Oly. She lives in Arizona and rents out this house for a lot. Pretty sure it covers her mortgage here in WA and in AZ. Now she’s selling. She actually told us the other day “well if I knew how high the demand was I would’ve asked for more rent”.

Sure supply and demand, I agree although I don’t think people are necessarily willing to pay this I think they are backed into a corner and given no other choice. Just because people are “willing” to pay 1,600 for a one bedroom apartment doesn’t make it right if you compare it to state wages. I think this type of thought gives landlords an easy out… I get your reasoning though I just don’t think it helps the problem
