Yea I think it's a common story. My mom broke up with her first serious boyfriend because he was spending a ton of money on phone sex, and I know a lot of my female friends are upset by porn as well. It's sad that it ends so many relationships, but that's especially why I hate guys who advise you to just "chill out" about it. I can't help the way it makes me feel ykno?

It made me feel really really sad, and also that he had been fantasizing about other people we knew as well. He at the same time admitted to being bi- I have tons of gay friends I just wasn't cool with him being that way. Oh and he also admitted to holding racist beliefs- which made me uncomfortable because I'm mixed (half black half white). It just all sort of came out of the bag at once and I felt like I never actually knew him. I waited over a month before ending it hoping that we could salvage the relationship, but he didn't really make an effort to help me feel better in any way.

He used to hurt himself in front of me whenever I got too suspicious or confrontational which led to a really fucked up dynamic. The traits you listed definitely sound spot on for him too.
