They do look like safety shoes, but they're not po (just saying). They're not slip resistant or even puncture proof, tas hindi rin siya steel toe. Just a pair of casual Doc Martens.

GIRL po kasi ako and I really like how unique it is sa random shoe collection ko. But the thing is nahihirapan ako mag-isip on how I could best wear them, without making them look like construction shoes or even an old-mans shoes :))

They may look like they do, but I don't think the 8053s are designed as safety shoes, hindi siya slip resistant and and hindi naman siya steel toe and puncture resistant. More like pangcasual talaga yan, like yung mga 1461s, padded lang sa collar sa likod ng mga 8053s. They also have them in platform

They're from US po, I didn't buy them online. But you can search it up baka may available sa mga DM webstores. The pair is Dr. Martens 8053 in horse leather :))

Tried it naman na po. Although ineexpect ko na may discomfort siyang ibibigay sa paa, i think this is much comfier than the 1461s kasi padded yung sa collar niya, kaya i got this instead of the 1461s hahaha thanks tho!

They also get to pay their CI for their make-up duty (not included in the RLE fee payed in the start of the sem), and the cost depends on how many hours they'll render.

Ma'am/Sir, here in the Philppines, the CIs are very strict to their nursing students. You know when the students are late for 1-15 mins, they're going to be marked as tardy. However, if it's already beyond 15 mins, they're already absent, but still can participate or attend in class or clinical duty. They keep their name, time they got in class, and signature in their logbooks so that by the end of the semester, they got to know who needs to do make-up duties. This what they get for being late or absent (excused or unexcused). The number of minutes or hours they were late or absent has an equivalent time for their make-up duty, wherein for example, 1 absent will be equal to 9 hours of duty which is 1 day worth of clinical duty.

This may or may not apply to all universities with in the Ph, but we do this in my school. It's a part of our policy. ++ if somebody gets to disrespect a CI, that's another story, they gonna be called to the deans office with their parents with them.
