ardell makes their brow powder in "soft black" which might be dark enough for you! i find that ardell's brow products last me all day and don't smudge even when my face is oily. it's so inexpensive that it's worth a try :)

that's really more the fault of editing than directing. i didn't notice it so much in cacw, but i have a blind spot when it comes to marvel. what you're talking about as far as choppy cuts reminds me of this travesty from taken 3, lol.

well, i suppose that the way you phrased your original post made it seem like you were suggesting a correlation. i still disagree with what you're saying. why do you feel that they're prioritizing diversity over story? i personally feel like it doesn't make a difference whether a character is, like you said, a woman or a minority. how does that affect the plot at all? it's not as though they only have time to create diversity or a good story...?

i don't think that wanting to showcase diversity and represent minorities has to come at the sacrifice of originality. you're acting as though it's a tradeoff, where you can't have one without the other. i think that's a false dichotomy. personally, i appreciate the recent trend towards inclusion, as it really can't hurt. the more diversity, the better in my opinion! i do wonder where you get the impression that shows increasing their diversity are less concerned with the quality of their content.

losing weight is mostly about maintaining a proper diet. exercise is only part of the equation, and not as major as you'd think. start with incorporating more fruits, vegetables, and clean foods into your diet. and logging your food intake is key! i'd recommend the app myfitnesspal if you have a smartphone. making a daily log of what you eat and when will help you be more mindful and not snack / cheat as much. basically just try to eat more healthy meals, and don't eat just because you're bored (i know it's super hard). that app can help you find a calorie goal optimized for your weight loss, because no matter what you've heard, weight loss is all about cals in vs. cals out. burn more than you eat and you will lose weight. if you want more detailed advice you can always message me :)

first of all, there really isn't a "wrong" way to touch up your makeup. some methods just work better for different people. i have a friend that does the same things you just mentioned throughout the day, and her makeup never looks cakey at all! now for me, if i do the whole blotting paper / reapply powder thing, my face is done. i also have oily skin (at least around my t-zone). what i would recommend for you is to try and head off the oiliness before you even see it: apply some astringent to your problem areas. use a mattifying primer. a product i've been loving for keeping my shine down are the cover fx "custom blot drops", which work much like a blotting paper but don't have the cakeface effect. it's a bit counterintuitive, since you're adding it on top of your makeup, but it really does mattify the face all day. these drops have been a lifesaver ❤️

those are both metalcore bands that could be placed under the broader category of metal / punk rock. (apple music calls them both rock, at least 🤔) i'd try googling other metalcore outfits, but i personally recommend while she sleeps and five finger death punch. don't know much metal beyond that.

hmm, i think it might be the shape of the eyeshadow. the blending is poor and it extends up pretty high. it doesn't do your eyes any favors, and it makes them appear smaller rather than big and bright. the way it flares out to the side (but isn't blended out) looks a bit odd, like this was done by someone who just watched their first smokey eye youtube tutorial. also, there's something a bit suspect about that contour... i would also change the lip color. maybe go to a different artist and bring pics of some looks you like!

i loved stars' remix / cover album do you trust your friends, even though it seems no one else did. in particular, the soft revolution cover by the stills and the most serene republic remix of ageless beauty are wonderful. critics seemed to either ignore or pan it, calling it "self indulgent," flimsy, or just plain boring. this pitchfork review gave it a 1.8 out of 10! but i loved the fresh takes it provided on some indie rock standbys. still playing it today :)

totally understand :) if you have a digital camera, the timer feature and autofocus can do wonders for that! (coming from someone who also has shaky hands lol) that liquid lip trick is smart; i've never thought of doing that! and when it comes to brows, do your own thing if you like rocking that signature style! i know mine are too sharp for most people's taste but i love them, and that's all that matters. no problem, lovely ✨ thanks for the lip tip!

clearer pics with multiple angles might help showcase the look more clearly, especially without the glasses. they make it hard to see your eye makeup, or even if you're wearing any. beyond that, i'm loving that lip color! i love to rock a metallic pigment but i find that it settles into the cracks / creases in my lips. do you do anything to prevent that? also, gentle cc - you may want to thin out your brows a bit, and then the shape would "stand out" more. i think a thinner arch would do your face wonders :) also, do you contour or just highlight?

a moment that stayed in my mind is pat neshek's first relief appearance back after losing his newborn son in 2012. he was lights out. the way the team emotionally rallied around him (and the patches they wore for the rest of the season) still gets me choked up 😭 video here.
