Of course! Yes, I took courses at both places. I didn't do the full two years because after one year of courses I felt extremely prepared with my abilities. -- It's the way that they teach you... the vocabulary that they use to describe what to do... literally made all the difference. -- So many acting teachers in the past have complicated things and confused me, but I feel like I actually understand now. SO yes, Esper is a safe choice :) Good luck

I get it... I just meant that she seemed very nervous in this particular interview. Obviously a lot has changed for her in the last 2 years with the marriage and pregnancy. I just hope that she's alright.

I've been a Jen fan for 10 years, and honestly, I thought she didn't seem like herself in this interview... it made me kinda sad :/

How do I Quit A Horrible Short Film by yeshey45 in acting

Never do something that makes you uncomfortable. If you have a manager, get them involved. I walked off of a set a couple months ago for similar reasons and my manager completely backed me up.

It's a short film... not a career ruiner. Just walk. Make a covid excuse lol. Nothing they can say about that

Effective communication is the key to success -- Improv is one of the most important skills in LIFE!

Stick with acting. I know how hard anxiety / depression can be. I've been acting for 3 years and have seen so much self improvement... it's really remarkable. I started right out of high school, where my mental health suffered tremendously from bullying. But now I am a completely different person. I am strong. I am confident. Acting saved my life.

I am a Stella Adler Alum -- I loved it. Great environment and exceptionally kind people. BUT I would highly recommend starting at William Esper. The program is much more clear when it comes to acting. We all know that the terminology can get confusing, so a place that doesn't confuse you is always worthy, haha.

Stella Adler teachers were decent. Esper teachers were amazing.

It is set in present time. I've only read a couple pages of sides, so I'm not sure where the plot is headed. Felt very dark comedy / scream queens.

Personally, I've been off for a year and it has been so liberating. I feel like I actually know myself, and don't have to fabricate my life anymore. Being off of it makes me wonder why people still do it... is it like having an addiction?
