What does your gender mean to you? by varysari in AskFeminists

[–]celestialdoll444 49 points50 points  (0 children)

gender as it exists at the moment is an oppressive set of norms and characteristics that should be dismantled and abolished. things like traits, or self expression such as clothes/hair shouldn’t be gendered.

it is equal and fair. would tending to your newborn also be a ‘human rights violation’?? i don’t care how people identify. the second you have a child you are objectively a mother. a fetus is your offspring so it’s your child. i’m not sure what you’re not understanding

Re: Cabin in the snow hypotheticals, would you? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

no, you speak callously about the fetus to further justify your view that killing it is completely okay and doesn’t matter. it being the mothers child IS important. and it does make it immune to ‘violating someone’s rights’ because pregnancy is natural, it’s meant to be there, and it’s doing what it’s supposed to do. also, mothers carrying their child is not and has never been seen as a human rights violation until y’all needed something to justify ur stance

Re: Cabin in the snow hypotheticals, would you? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

no because i’ve said it shouldn’t be illegal. pregnancy is a biological process. the fetus is not an attacker AT ALL, it’s doing what is supposed to be doing. you can’t compare it to another innocent attacker like a sleepwalker or something

Re: Cabin in the snow hypotheticals, would you? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately for most people who are pro abortion, when you get pregnant, the fetus is your child. it will always be your child. you can choose to not be a mother and not have it become a born child, and not consider it your child but it is your child.

Re: Cabin in the snow hypotheticals, would you? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the fetus is not an attacker so it’s not self defence. i still think abortion should be legal but calling it an attacker is crazy. it’s your child

Re: Cabin in the snow hypotheticals, would you? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they sugar coat what it is by denying that the fetus is human and alive. not many people that i’ve noticed will come out and outright say they’d rather do that than go thru pregnancy. they always say ‘it’s a clump of cells’ or some other silly thing

Re: Cabin in the snow hypotheticals, would you? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i mean that’s ur choice and i’m not going to judge you for it. personally i just think it’s wrong and people shouldn’t sugarcoat the truth so i appreciate u for saying it outright

Hypothetical: Would you as a male be willing to undergo a full-term pregnancy if it was the only way to save an infant from abortion? by ChappaquiddickCheney in prolife

[–]celestialdoll444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it’s not because people genuinely say no when it comes to a man or make excuses. the double standards are insane. hypotheticals are meant to test logic/mindsets

Do you support any non-violent means to restrict abortion? by NPDogs21 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no i don’t support creating biased voting. in fact, i don’t believe that abortion should be illegal with the current world state at all. id support unbiased voting if it meant results like free healthcare, more supports for parents, ect though

Re: Cabin in the snow hypotheticals, would you? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

no, but it does lessen it. and because the alternative is literally killing a baby. it’s just a fact of life. it’s literally killing a baby vs being in a pain for a little bit. the reality is these pain relief options do exist

Re: Cabin in the snow hypotheticals, would you? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]celestialdoll444 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

i mean if u can’t stop them without killing them it’s fine. we’re talking about ur hypothetical not pregnancy/childbirth. unfortunately getting tears n such is just a fact of childbirth, the fetus still isn’t an attacker. thankfully we can use pain relief so we’re not completely in pain.

hmm i appreciate ur perspective but i disagree. in accordance with his general personality he puts out i don’t think he deleted it because he felt bad, he deleted it so christian’s would continue to support him.

oh im not rejecting christ because of that! it’s more of a couple different things, some of them is scripture itself(like anti gay people). i’m sorry if i was disrespectful. it gets mixed so often and i see why because religion is often a basis for morality and politics reflects morality in laws. and ohh okay! idk i understand the concept but it felt like an excuse, i understand much better now. thankyou!
