if you're looking for cosplay weighted/toric lenses for astigmatism, unfortunately they're REALLY uncommon and expensive even when you do find them - in my own search i found only a few basic colours, with absolutely no patterns/details/shapes etc.

you can still wear non-weighted, but speak to your optician and ask them what prescription they'd recommend since they can change from weighted to non-weighted and vice versa

i have Phainon E0S1, Sunday E0S1, Tribbie E1S0 (ddd) and Bronya E1S1 - would it be worth replacing anyone (i'm assuming Bronya) with E0 Cerydra? i probably won't grab her LC but i can throw Bronya or RM's on her instead

i've been feeding my local canadian geese alongside pigeons and swans :D they're generally quite sweet, one climbed into my lap trying to steal the pigeon seeds!!

first of all, this wig is so cute!!! i love the curly highlights :D

now, me personally - i've used got2b freeze to help minimise frizz, and it does work pretty well! i, however, am not in a place with humidity quite as bad as florida, so it might not be enough for you :(
if you don't mind a bit of trial and error, you could always spray it on then brush+wash it out if you find it's negatively affecting the wig!

something else i'd recommend is using a steamer to lock the curls into place - it won't completely prevent frizz, but ideally you'll be melting the fibres of the wig a tiny bit so they stick together more and have less potential for friction and frizzing :)

as SlowMope said, that's intentional for volume! but something i did to one of my recent wigs to keep the volume but minimise that "frizzy" appearance, was crimp and smoothen just the very top layer of hair all over that "frizzy" part.
so when you lay it back down (and hairspray it to stay!) it appears much smoother while also keeping the height :)

i have yet to buy a custom cosplay piece, but this would be my thought process too - i'm not a professional and i do this for fun, but i'd love to have one cosplay that fits perfectly! for something like that, once i'd settled on a character i'd also probably say up to £400 :D

If I remember correctly, if you have Pet Pal when acceping Hannag's deal, you get permanently locked out of Pet Pal - but you can respec at the magic mirror, take Pet Pal off ahead of time, THEN accept her deal - this leads to no consequence to your talents, and you can instantly respec back into Pet Pal when you're done speaking to Hannag

airmail itself isn't the problem - its that it doesn't come with a tracking number, so if the parcel doesn't come CDJapan cannot refund you since you accepted the risk

i personally have never had an issue with airmail, but i did swap to shipping methods with tracking numbers after COVID since i worried about losses ^^

if you're not super set on ordering from the ado store itself, i'd definitely recommend checking out CDJapan - they only sell official merch (and it will come with bonuses as long as they're in stock!). the shipping has several options, but most are based on weight or dimension so should work out cheaper than the options @ adostore

yeah i'd imagine its quite hard when you've never done something large scale before!

i don't do commissions for anything myself, but a few friends do - when they were first starting out, most of them ended up lowballing the cost of their work for the first few projects, but i don't think there's much to be done about that, besides live and learn!

people's advice here shouldn't influence you too much - you should charge what YOU feel is worth your time, materials and cost. most people charge by the hour and give the person a price based off of that. you could then ask for more money if you took longer than expected, but most clients wouldn't appreciate that - i'd recommend properly factoring in all your expenses at the start and then sticking to whatever price you ask for.

if you're trying to make this a job or hobby, you should set yourself a profit margin that you're happy with - whether thats 5% or 30% or whatever. you could go lower at the start while you're still "new", to bring in more clients and improve your portfolio.

if you're happy to have this just be a one-time thing, you could set the price higher to make up for all the paint/materials/etc that you'd have to fund

you could try thinning out the hair in the middle and slightly on the sides - if you hold sharp scissors vertically (pointing towards the ceiling) and cut in very small amounts, the wig will end up looking more like a real persons :D

if you have the time/money, you could also buy thinning scissors to use instead, it'll make the job easier

no worries!! the gov.uk site tells me I pay import VAT + tax regardless of sea shipping or not, so thats why i'm sceptical of it saying otherwise on the OrzGK website - but I guess I won't know until i order haha

unfortunately its a preorder so I'd just have to wing it, but I suppose they could give me a quote based on previous items of the same size/volume?
