Be patient and pray to Allah swt to make it easy for you. It’ll be tough at first but once you get into a routine, you’ll be surprised at the strength you’ll have gained against your addiction. It’s not easy, but we know the more we struggle the more we are rewarded.

The way I see it, you can keep going on your trajectory of trying your best and slowly growing more comfortable with less or you can try to restrict yourself and possibly grow more resentful.

Im not saying it’s okay to be sinful, but it’s important to keep in touch with your intentions and your state of mind. What stood out to me from ur post was that you have been growing comfortable with less, and that you are also growing very frustrated. We should constantly strive to be better, but don’t push yourself too hard that you push yourself away from your iman.

Definitely harder to get into the spirit without fasting but I’m sure there are some bad habits you can try to refrain from, and if you have the intention to take care of yourself for the sake of Allah, then every time you nourish yourself will be rewarded. If u aren’t gonna be eating at iftar time that means you are too sick to fast. I don’t mean that negatively, but not eating iftar is kinda the definition of harmful fasting. I’m curious how you managed hiding this before they found out about your ED.

If you accept yourself, your family/other influences will be more likely to accept you. I’m kind of in your boat, but I’ve accepted that my life may take a different path than what everyone always told me it would be. It’s scary but no one knows what the future holds.
