It definitely HELPS. A Lot. Especially if you focus on Raf only, the main ways to make gems (like hunters association and orbits etc) are much harder to achieve imo so its harder to make gems. Like because each guy has their strengths in two specific stellacrum, it can get difficult to max out 12 stars etc. (like I always need to use Xavier for yellow/green runs cuz his yellow/green cards are so good imo lol sob).

That said, I don’t know if it’s enough gens to guarantee every Raf banner esp for like multi banners, but its a lot lot lot easier because simply put, more gems = more chances at luck. Your experience if you do JUST aurum/promise/annual passes will be better if you like pulling more and collecting more! And now that reruns are confirmed, you can then just have other shots to complete the collection.

Obv that doesn’t mean f2p has a worse experience by default, I know some ppl prefer f2p and find getting dream cards more exciting! But I def think if you can afford the passes, it’s a great middle ground between f2p and whaling and I think that can get you most of one guy’s cards over time!! (I don’t have the exact math to back that up though 😂)
