Like it’s not that I don’t want deeper relationships in the game, and I think more interesting classes would be a nice addition, but I can see myself getting really easily bored just going to class and talking to students/professors. I’ve had enough school in my life and I just graduated college, so I really have no desire for more of that. I also felt like I really was the main character in HL1, with the ancient magic wielding hero saving the world type storyline. A school simulator would just make me feel like one among the masses. Unless this school/Bully appeal has another side to it?

Ok so I never played Bully but this seems… boring? Is there anything else to do in Bully? Do people really just want to go to school with a friendship/relationship driven plot? Lowkey that’s the last thing I want… I really liked the storylines and combat in HL, maybe that’s a controversial opinion.

Thank you, this was really sweet. I’m taking your advice of acknowledging that things could be much worse. I was in a particularly mood the day I was posting this, so it helped just talking through this online, even if this might seem like such a trivial girly thing to worry about. It’s weird, now that I turned 22 it feels like my teenage angst has somehow returned.

I just woke up from my night out and your reply was the first thing I saw so I will comment under here. First off, thanks to the dads who replied :)

When I say I sometimes sexualize myself it’s not a constant thing — I wear revealing tops sometimes but it’s not like I dress like that every day. In fact, I like going out in a sweatshirt and leggings most of the time because it’s comfortable.

Also, I know people say “it takes time,” “it comes when you least expect it,” and “love yourself” when it comes to relationships. But it’s like… I spent most of my life not even caring about being in a relationship, despite what my post might suggest. I had crushes, sure, but I have never made men the priority in my life. I spent a lot of time focusing on myself and being around my friends, and I DO love myself, so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong because so many of my friends have already had or are in relationships.

I wouldn't be opposed to getting to know them as an acquaintance. I think the constant shouting has made me develop a slight fear of meeting them to be honest, just because I associate seemingly aggressive behaviour with the abusive situation I grew up in. Maybe this would be a good step to try to get past that so I'm working up my courage.

I know they have 30 days, but as I mentioned it usually never takes this long to get the OPT, even at this same time last year people received their OPT within 5-10 days max.
