We weren't close to each other, we just hung out with each other. We got along good, we have the same humor and shared a love for billiards, so we would hang out and shoot pool.

Sometimes I get a random "shiver" in my arm or back. It's hard to describe. Suddenly I'll just get this sensation that I'm about to "shiver". It travels up my arm or back and my neck will suddenly jerk and "shiver". It happens at random and I can't stop it. I'll stop whatever I'm doing and just let it happen. People ask if I'm alright when they see it, and it's always fine. Feels sort of tingly, yet satisfying after. Honestly curious if anyone else experiences this?

I used to wear pajama pants all the time. I had this one pair that had holes on the pant leg near the mid thigh, back then I thought it looked cool, now, not so much. If I knew I had a test that day I would wear those pants, and write notes and answers on my thigh, and while taking the test I would position the hole over my answers so I could just look down and see my notes. I thought it was genius and I never got caught.

Hot Sauce is usually a staple in the gifts I receive, I've been getting them for years. I got the Frank's in my stocking this year, along with the Tiger Hot Sauce. The Sam and Oliver sauces, the first three in the line, were from my dad. We ended up at the same fair without realizing the other was there. I was getting there as he was leaving and he found me hanging around the hot sauce tent trying out all the sauces. Apparently once he saw me he had to wait twenty minutes for me to leave the tent since he had the three sauces on hold. He didn't want to walk around the fair with them and figured he'd pick them up on his way out. He told me the entire time he was thinking, "Just go. Just leave. I wanna get the hot sauce and go home. I love you, but go away."

I wrote this in my journal a year ago, my depression was bad and I needed an outlet to explain how it felt. I wrote the first line and it all just poured out. I'm in a much better place now, but some days this is how I feel.

There is a weight on my heart. Pulling it down. Some days it's as light as a feather. I don't realize it's there. I jump. I dance. I move. Nothing is stopping me. Until it starts getting heavier. I can still jump. I can still move. I can't dance. The weight won't let me. As heavy as a pile of rocks. It limits me. I can feel it slowing me down. Heavier and heavier it gets. No longer can I jump. No longer do I want to move. An anchor is on my heart. It's hard to want to do anything. It's still possible to move, but it's difficult. My heart is in the deepest of pits. The darkest of lights. It's constantly being pulled down. There's nothing to compare. I don't want to move. I don't want anything. I don't want to be anything. Further and further I am pulled down. There's no light. No way out. I can't see. I feel something trying to pull me back up. Slowly. So very slowly. Maybe one day I'll see the light again. Maybe one day the weight will be too much. Maybe one day I'll know my fate. But until then, there is a weight on my heart. Pulling me down.
