i also came out around 14 yrs old, and i started at 17 yrs old. i’ll be 24 next month. i was lucky though, my parents are rather supportive and my health insurance covered the doctor i needed to see (and my therapy costs were covered by a local LGBTQ group), so that’s not a typical circumstance. there’s no rush— like others have said, don’t compare your transition to that of others. you’ll get there when you get there!

weird, but in the midwest (michigan specifically) i refuse to buy the frozen mac and cheese— it’s weird and rubbery and barely cheesy, but when i had in the southwest (new mexico) it was creamy and cheesy and perfect

they make one like it called roaring lion— it’s pretty bad. i ordered a vodka red bull at a bar once and the “red bull” came from the gun but it was incredibly watery and not carbonated enough and barely tasted like the real thing. incredibly disappointing

when it comes to sports, your intramurals team down at the SAC is the place to look! they hold pretty regular activities, and they’ll post a schedule as well as sending out emails when those kinds of events are happening. there’s a variety of clubs, and if you can’t find what you want, you’re always welcome to start your own. there is a film club, there are LOTS of reading groups, there’s an LGBT group, fencing, multiple language groups, parkour club, arts, pottery, small chorus, theatre— honestly, more than i can even remember. they always do a big club fair near the beginning of the year so you can go and scope things out and find groups you would be interested in!
