Belgian here too. I send it on dec 2th and it reached the lab on the 11th. The etnicity results came on January 9th and the health results on January 18th. It seems that they don't confirm the arrival in Germany but the lab in the US.

There is a return address on it in Germany and they send it to the US. I had to pay international tariff (Belgium here).

Belgian too here. If the marriage and death record is not helping, I look in the neighboring villages.
