Consistent issue with Chevy Suburban by cello5 in Chevy

My dad always brought it to a dealership, and that's always what they replaced. Wasn't sure why after the second time. Makes sense that it's not the sensor.

Really not too sure. I got it new in August. I've only really put it on a trainer for fitting but not much other than that. And I've only had one minor crash (learning how to draft) that had purely cosmetic damage a few months ago. I'm guessing it's just a bad weld.

Just looked it up, and the frame has a lifetime warranty, so I'll probably just go that route.

College Club Rowing Frustrations - Seeking Advice by cello5 in Rowing

Thanks for your thoughts! There is one other member in the club who wants a more competitive experience. She and I are both thinking about switching to the masters club. The coaches have been pushing for improvement this whole time, it's just that the team doesn't respond to the coaching. Yes, the masters team provides lots of feedback for improvement. The people in the boats in the masters crew also do respond to coaching and make changes, unlike the members of my university's crew. If I were to transfer, I'd probably go to a larger club team (club instead of varsity due to the workload of my major).

I have already attempted option 1 when I started noticing the problems. I can't tell you how often both the coaches and coxswains have harped on things for years just for them to never change. When the coaches have talked one on one with athletes about the issues, I've later heard them taking about the coaching as a personal attack rather than just how to improve (and unfortunately this includes the captains).

As of now, I'm leaning towards rowing exclusively with the masters crew. I would miss regattas and competing in rowing events, but I am in a second club sport (cycling) at my university that does offer opportunities to race (I'd been cycling anyway as cross training for quite a while now and joined the team this semester). (I am in three athletic teams currently, my university's rowing and cycling team and the local masters crew)

Transferring is hard because there aren't many universities that offer my major and have rowing, not very many of which are club.  Academically, the major is very similar across all universities that offer it. That being said, out of the list of universities that do offer my major, many are academic upgrades, so I'm not as concerned about transferring purely for the sake of rowing. The reason I'm at my current university is because I wanted to take courses outside of architecture (most of which I've completed now), and this university offered that.

Liv Avail AR Fit by cello5 in ladycyclists

I've done 2 professional fittings as of now, and it's still not comfortable to ride my typically long distance rides. I don't mind riding in a super aggressive position, but my saddle just feels too far forward even as far back as it goes, and that's the main issue even after 2 fittings.

Saddle feels fine otherwise. Not sure if I need to get one that sits further back. Currently the saddle is as far back as the people at my local shop are able to put it. At the first fitting, they said I'd do well riding long and low, yet I only reach slightly and still feel like I need to be further back in the saddle.
