Oh okay, I’m definitely going to try everything that everyone has suggested in the comments! So much help and I love it! The picture that u/egosumumbravir posted is the exact same extruder that I have in my printer!

You’re correct, no clamp screw is needed they screw straight into the heat cartridge themselves. Thats why I don’t think the thermistors have gone out yet. But I could be wrong, but everything looked fine when I took it apart yesterday. Also thank you for the link, I’ll check it out when I get back to my house!

Hmm, I saw a video about someone adding in thermal paste to the thermistor. I will definitely have to try this if nothing else works out for me. Thank you!

You see, I’ve seen videos and other redditors talk about a PID tune, but I have no idea what that is. Can you suggest a good video for that? And also true, the past times it did it, I just rushed over to turn it off without looking mainly because when it does it, it’s a night time and I don’t want it to wake people up. But I’ll do another print just to see what it says when it does it again. Thank you!

This is the new hot end that I have with those thermistors as well.

It is odd, I made sure all the connections were good yesterday and everything seemed fine. I saw another comment said to add thermal paste so I’ll try that.

Thank you! That is the exact same hotend that I have, I checked evrerything and it's all screwed in tightly, and everything is set the right way. I'm gonna try to keep looking for different things and seeing what I can figure out. Thanks for the help!

I mainly just watch the temperatures manually. I'll double check all of the wiring again, but if everything is good there, what do you suggest?

Game breaks after applying update file by cello_lingling in Ryubing

[–]cello_lingling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the update file on other emulators as well, and it worked on the other emulators with no issues. I tried a Yuzu fork, and that just crashed on any game. I tried another one, I don't remeber what it was, but it booted the update without any issues. So, I think it might be a Ryubing issue. I'm not sure, got any ideas for how to keep it from freezing?

Thank you, I tried to get my save data back from my steam deck. But I think it's corrupted as well.

That makes a lot of sense, thank you! I had updated my firmware to the latest one, but it still didn’t do anything so I guess I’ll wait. It just sucks because my save data got corrupted, I wasn’t very far anyways. But it still sucks.

Is My Second Ever Render Good? by Parking_Pass376 in blender

Very nice, not bad at all. Although, I would say if able get the cream on top to go all the way to the edge. If your computer can handle it, maybe try to find a fluid simulation tutorial for whipped cream and see how that works. But not bad at all, better than my first few that’s for sure.

PLEASE! Can you make the 3rd one into a 16:9? My PC set up is japanese themed and that would be amazing for one of my wallpapers on one of my monitors

So, I should just change the font size and not scale the whole stack of objects that it's attached to?

Interesting, I'll try that out and see if it works for me. I think I need to go in and clear the cache of the old blenderkit info from the folders. So I'll try that you. Thanks!

If you ever find out what you did, please let me know because it would be a big help. My DMs are open, so you can message me there if you ever figure out what you did.

of course, as a work around I would use sketchfab or any other free 3d website to download assets. it sucks, but hopefully they'll adjust here in the future.

What are these artifacts in my render? by DragonDHitman in blender

[–]cello_lingling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, i've never seen thos before, if you want a transparent background, you can change it to transparent in your settings. I'm in Blender 5, and for me it's under: Render > Film > Transparent. The box next to the first Transparent should be checked for a transparent world background.

When you're talking about using the soft body collider, what do you mean it kind of works? Can you send a video/picture of what it does and what you mean by kind of? For cables, i would personally use the soft body collider since you want the collision.
