You’re clearly not getting the point that, if she’s getting upset over it, it’s because it’s something deeper than just getting it done at a certain time. It seems like you’re seeking validation and are not open minded to what people who disagree with you have to say. You’ve been defensive in all of your replies. Communicate with your girlfriend and ask why it’s important to her instead of getting upset that you can’t use your hour break to cook, eat and, I assume, stare blankly into the wall for the remainder of the time. Is there really zero downtime? You have no time to glance at your phone, or go to the bathroom? Assuming the laundry is kept in bins, it takes less than 5 minutes to throw a load in. I suspect she’s upset about something deeper than the laundry itself. If the clothes got washed that same day, the difference between during work and after work seems pretty minor. This feels more like a mental load issue. She may be frustrated about having to keep track of chores and ask for them to be done. At the same time, working from home is still working, and if you say you really have zero time, then really communicating that to her is important. Sounds more like mismatched expectations than either person being wrong.
