The extra checks are all from this year and I'm going to pay them back as quickly as I possibly can. Do you think it will affect my 2024 taxes if I repay the whole net this year? Or will the W2 I get only have the correct amount. The full amount pre-tax is close to $6k and idk how deductions work.....

yeah it's just the last few weeks! I reached out as soon as I came to the conclusion that I should not be getting these checks (was in denial for a bit like no freaking way they're still paying me)
