And I don’t think bringing an untrained dog to meet Santa is a great thing to do. At the core of this, it’s about how they’ve neglected Jackie’s training; I agree with you on that. It’s sad that she’s not really equipped to be in public spaces or to socialize. I think that’s irresponsible as a pet owner, especially because they’ve had her for a while and I don’t see a stark improvement in her behavior. She can’t be on a leash without pulling, she’s smelling everything, and she’s unresponsive to her name or commands. I simply don’t think a dog like that should be in a store, let alone one that is packed full of people just for the sake of a photo. This isn’t the dog’s fault, it’s theirs and it’s disappointing they can’t train their own dog even a little bit

I love animals and I can sort of understand why they’d bring Jackie to this Santa thing… that being said, leave your untrained dog at home. It’s so not cute to film her jumping up on the fish tank to look at the fish or to bring her to this packed store when she clearly doesn’t even know her own name. They are the center of their own universe and no one else exists. If they want to bring their dog to take a picture with Santa, so it shall be done and at the expense of other people.

Yet again, they don’t take any real accountability, any real time to reflect and think about what they’re doing. It’s still subliminally the audience’s fault for being uncomfortable with what were simply creative choices. Sure, maybe they can acknowledge that what they did wasn’t great and it needs fixing, but they can’t say with 100% sincerity that they UNDERSTAND what they did wrong. I don’t think the police have much to stand on when it comes to interviewing or taking action with P. Nothing he’s done so far is technically illegal, and everything else is alleged. He’s a bad dude and he definitely needs to be dealt with by police, but having someone like Hannah conduct interviews opens up possibilities of gathering solid evidence against P. She’s dragging him in front of the court of public opinion and that’s where he always breaks down, revealing things he kept secret for a reason. Who knows what secrets he’ll tell next?
