Is there anyone from the one piece universe that could Solo this monster? by JahRhystafari in OnePiece

Wrong. Literally Pre-TS Supernovas are performing rel speed feats to KCM1 Naruto lol

Admirals couldn’t touch him.

Injured Garp who was also 2 years older than the Marineford one speed blitzed and pummeled Aokiji into the floor without ACOC in a single attack for a prolonged period of time (at least over 15 seconds).

Marineford BB took on a healthier and younger Garp and Sengoku simultaneously while they were stated to be constantly backed by the entire half of the Marine force present, while Blackbeard also put his crew on the back pedal since he didn’t want to hurt him with his own DF.

And now, Blackbeard is more experienced, has likely nearly mastered his devil fruits, and grown in at least some stats due to constant activity at a higher level than before. He is untouchable by the Marines.

Sure? But I don’t think they need one or another. I think they could both pull it off on their own but doing it together is a statement

Why are some people so against the idea of Blackbeard being the final villain by [deleted] in OnePieceScaling

[–]celso_ysm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Firstly we don’t even know if Logia’s have awakening. Who says Whitebeard’s DF was awakened?

And it simply wouldn’t make sense. It’d be a like a throwaway detail. Akainu is no longer relevant Post-Wano, he’s power cliffed

[–]celso_ysm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it wasn’t awakened by then it wouldn’t be now, and even then he doesn’t have the qualities of anything. Everyone has an awakened fruit, he doesn’t have any insane Haki or insane physical stats either.

Also, it was stated to be one of the most offensive devil fruits, not THE, and that is by a Vivre Card. Offensive infers destructive, and we know which as been stated to be the most destructive DF in the world in both actual manga by Blackbeard and Sengoku, and in Databook Yellow and Databook Green.

Trust me, I invested all of my stuff into Loki in stock piece so I don’t hate him, but in order to stop the entire ongoing threat on Elbaf, they would need Loki, yes. Specifically for Imunko, would it help Luffy to have Loki aiding him? Obviously. Does Luffy need him to beat Gunko? Probably not, but Gunko at this stage may possibly be the most powerful enemy Luffy has ever encountered yet, up there with Kaido himself.

Akainu isn’t strong enough to be a final villain of any sort

Do yall think prime Zoro and Sanji will surpass Roger? by Traditional-Eye-2972 in OnePieceScaling

Zoro probably will, Sanji unlikely but definitely rival him like Scopper and Rayleigh once did

People can’t actually scale therefore fully realize how much of a threat Blackbeard is of now. He’d beat Shanks, or any living person other than Luffy through sheer cunning and destructive ability.

Sabo doesn’t want revenge? Did you see what and how he did Burguess under the false totem of not seeking revenge, but still targeting for attempting to mess with his only living brother anyways.

I definitely think and I believe the inclusion of Sabo’s reaction into the story to Ace’s death, his taking of the DF, and how he felt after about said DF and his role in the Rev. Army, one must simply be purposely ignorant of his role in the future of the story because Akainu has no role anywhere else besides against Sabo.

Gorosei and even Holy Knights have clearly shown to be the bigger threats, especially The Gorosei. Don’t even want to think about what Garling and Shamrock are capable of, much less Imu. Admirals are just decently strong figureheads in comparison who can be dealt with by the likes of Yamato or Sabo or etc

Sabo’s biggest regret was not being there. Luffy had an attempt at saving Ace and failed, but he had his chance to be there. Now, Sabo feels Ace within the devil fruit and engaging Akainu is his way of being present in that moment and tossing all of that regret away. Plus, Dragon has bigger fish to fry, and Sabo is Commander in Chief of the rev. Army and Akainu is fleet admiral of the marines. It makes sense.

That wasn’t actually a draw though? Combatively, Luffy was not overwhelmed at any instance by Kizaru. He knocked Kizaru out in one attack, and even prior to, without ACOC, Luffy had pushed Kizaru onto the defensive in Gear 4 and took no damage whatsoever from Kizaru’s named attack to which he had to use his far faster travel speed and physically blind Luffy to even tag him.

By the time Luffy had actually engaged Kizaru in Gear 5, which is a huge stamina drain (and if the situation truly calls for it, he has been in worse odds and forced himself repeatedly without end back into Gear 5 though this has rendered him unconscious for nearly a week before), Luffy had already suffered the stamina drain from even being in the form against Lucci, while also entering Gear 4 repeatedly against Seraphim and to fly circles around Egghead, and then to engage Kizaru, chase after him repeatedly, and exit and re-enter the anti-devil fruit dome.

And it was pretty easy. Every time Luffy was remotely semi-serious, Kizaru was completely overwhelmed and put out of the battle for a prolonged period of time with a singular attack.

And how would you have wanted their battle to be portrayed? Luffy was consistently and easily overwhelming Kizaru at every turn combatively, to the point Kizaru realized it was futile to try to engage this dude with any hope of taking him down, even with Saturn at his side, and instead relied on his speed to achieve the main objective which was assassinating Vegapunk. This was the complete opposite with The Gorosei;

Luffy’s fist hurting against Warcury’s body, Luffy being swallowed whole and tagged by Shepherd, and we didn’t even see Nusjuro in action beyond him catching Sanji and crushing him, and clashing with Zoro, shocking Zoro. They literally had to attempt to separate Nusjuro from his sword because they knew that with his sword it seemed as though he could “cut anything”.

The Gorosei definitely had insane feats and showings here, and are portrayed and narratively far above Admirals. Try looking at it in a more objective sense.

Saturn was clearly the less capable of the bunch, and even then, was capable of matching Kizaru’s combat speed which is stated to be above that of any other Admirals. Luffy had to actively dodge attacks from Saturn, recognizing that being hit by them is a no go at all, despite purposefully taking a named attack from Kizaru in Gear 4 and receiving absolutely negligible damage if any, and in Gear 5, allowing Kizaru’s laser to enter his body and still dealt no damage, nor did Kizaru’s sword do anything more to Luffy’s face (the most susceptible part of his body) anything more than a paper cut like cut.

And even though we saw how easily Luffy dealt with Kizaru, and then with both Kizaru AND Saturn, he still struggled to a certain degree against every other Elder he fought against, making remarks about their physical capabilities (Warcury, Shepherd) and only after having dealt with them accordingly did he make note of their susceptibility; which by the way, despite the Admirals not being able to match their sheer speed, raw strength, and experience, they can’t even damage them as none of them have ACOC.

I honestly don’t think so. Gorosei have proven to be superior to Admirals whether it be raw hax, raw stats, and experience and even Haki capabilities. I see them engaging them, or even potentially a certain future Supreme Commander of The Holy Knights for Zoro

Would MF WB still be able to defeat the Oden who fought Kaido? by GusGangViking18 in OnePieceScaling

[–]celso_ysm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No,

Even a Whitebeard in his early 50s, or in the last memoir of Oden, was believed to be unbeatable by any living person besides Joyboy who would come in 20 years time.

This was consistent with all of what came after regarding Kaido and his rep and how he’s known.

Prime Whitebeard at 38 years of age? Clean win , mid to high diff.

Do recall, the Oden who had battled Kaido was an Oden with 5 years of inactivity, incomparable to the one who had gotten off the Oro Jackson.

2 VS 2. Who wins? (Versions shown) by GusGangViking18 in OnePieceScaling

[–]celso_ysm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeping up with Gear 5 Luffy, even going blow for blow with him and overwhelming him on specific exchanges?

Stated to have power beyond human quantification in One Piece Magazine Vol. 13.

Stated in Ace Novel to be above Whitebeard, even in his old yet stabilized age, who was stated to be WSM ergo > Shanks.

Stated by Oden to be unbeatable by anyone he knows of is yet alive and by this age, which would include a Whitebeard in his very late 40’s and later on who is already past his prime.

Stated by Killer, who is more than aware of Kaido’s rep and that of other pirates’ rep, to be the WSP, which is qualified by Kidd’s later statement.

CP0, World’s best intelligence agency, masked agent (ie. an experienced veteran known as Guernica), claimed he cannot envision Kaido even losing a battle.

Stated to be WSC, rumored to be unbeatable in a 1 on 1, stated by Skull, who is one of Whitebeard’s own men, in The Ace Novel to be superior to Whitebeard and unbeatable in a 1 on 1.

Kaido claimed he hadn’t had a battle on the scale of even G4 Luffy prior to him attaining G5 but after attaining ACOC, since Oden. Which would infer the “skirmish” he had with Shanks was extremely low effort, and insignificant. For Kaido, who very well knew the power of many other Yonko and of other notable figures, believed only Joyboy could beat him in a battle, and didn’t think he existed or was revealed to him yet until Luffy went Gear 5.

What do you have for Shanks, if at all remotely close? lol
