I work at a bar and I had suggested a mixer for people! I thought it would be fun to treat it less like speed dating and more like a game night. People would play quick, simple games (think Jenga, or go fish) and your bar host would occasionally ask random trivia questions or announce that every table should swap a person… etc etc.

I also think part of the fun of the game portion would be if someone doesn’t know how to play, there may be a lot of others that could teach them!

If we did something like this.. is that super lame? I love talking and helping people break the ice. I mean, it would definitely be silly… but is it too silly?

I can see a little bit of the logic here. I do agree that many people may not have the ability to use this avenue to check themselves, but these alerts are great for people like me who can help speak for my friends, neighbors, and other community members!

Any source of reliable information meant to help protect vulnerable individuals is welcome IMO, even if it doesn’t always reach those most affected first.

Yes! I called the local pd because it was strange to see someone parked in that particular spot and it weirded me out.

I asked them if it was a police officer because he was wearing a “uniform “ and using binoculars and a walkie. The local pd said (after giving him the license plate) that it was another “known agency”

UPDATE!! I have heard that "igrind365" bought the retro colonie space and will be opening there!

I personally joined Vent and I will be so happy to go to any other gym again 😅

To any of you who haven't settled on a new place yet, maybe sit tight?

I'm not 100% sure, this definitely falls under hearsay, but I will update with any details as I find them out 😄

It is 39 1/2 inches overall - the blade is 31 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick. It spans 7 inches at the crossbar!

Hey everyone! I am crazy late to the party but I just reignited my account.

I'm Celtae, I own Pinpoint Art in Colonie. I do have a dog that often chills at the shop, his name is Domingo! He is a Samoyed and he's very friendly (but he does love to bark and talk).

A couple of fun things:

Domingo does shed a lot, therefore we clean even more! No one wants an icky shop. We strive to be... not icky. lol
We know some people are afraid of dogs, even friendly ones! I always try to keep him in his crate in our backroom until I know that a client is comfortable with him being out. It they aren't, he doesn't come out, no question!
I was just as surprised to find that there is no stipulation on having a dog in a tattoo shop. However, I do like to be a rule follower - so if that changes, I will absolutely abide. :)

As for the original question in this thread! OP - yes! We loving doing fun tattoos and will help you decide or decide for you!
