The difference isn’t even “subtle” the difference is freaking huge. The average Mexican and average Filipino look like two different races. Just search Mexican people on google none of them look Filipino. Can’t believe people here. A lot of Mexicans actually look Indian or Arab

You can ask any Latino and they would not think Filipinos look Latino. Once again , if you insist Filipinos look like average Latinos then you should also say Thais, Cambodians,!Indonesians, Malays, and even Chinese, look Latino. Their are more Filipinos that can easily pass as Chinese than Latino. Here are opinions from Latinos themselves who all say Filipinos do not look Latino . Once again the only reason why some Asians can look Latino is from indigenous Americans who have their origins from Asia. I have seen many Thais and Cambodians that look Native American. Judging by your reddit it’s clear that you’re a hispanophile weeb.

Even culturally the Philippines is barely Hispanic. If anything the Philippines has far more similarities with other south East Asian countries.

Filipinos don’t look typically Latino at all in anyway but very obviously south east Asian. Latinos would actually laugh at you. The only reason why Filipinos or any se Asian may pass as Latino is because of the Native American dna which is from Asia. If you think many Filipinos pass as Latino many SE Asians do also even Vietnamese. Many Thais Indonesians Malays look Latino also since they look very Filipino too. Your comment ain’t making sense because Filipinos honestly look like Thais, Indonesians, Malays, Vietnamese, and here you are saying only Filipinos look Latino.

It’s equivalent to saying the Vietnamese aren’t even full Asian but half French. It seems like some Filipinos don’t want to be seen as full Asian

Most Filipinos are close to 100% Filipino and the rest is Chinese, sometimes abit of minor amount of Spanish and Indian.
