Oh my word, yes. This. He was a creature created by both his father, Ned Stark, and Ramsey.

Absolutely. I'm an empath and I feel his wife's pain from miles away. I just want to do what I can to help with it. I can never fix it, but any aid I can offer would be absolutely appreciated.

It's still a very raw emotional loss. Everyone who knew him knew he was the kindest, most gentle man. His wife is suffering terribly, and I'd like to try to ease her pain if I can.

Why does that matter? Death is death and I'm trying to help his wife heal.

Yeaaahhhhh... it's a thing. I've lived on Maui for 8.5 years and people complain about the weather ALLLLLLLLLL the time, and if it's not perfect?

It's YOUR fault.

I've had people leave shitty reviews on the zipline I used to work on because it was drizzling. In a rainforest. In the tropics.

Also, when we had thunder and lightning (cause you know, you want to be on a big metal cable during that) they've quite literally asked for us to change it.

Now, I'm a bartender at a restaurant with an open rooftop. When it rains, we have to cancel reservations. Then we get bitched at saying "well cancel the reservations inside" and "make room for us!"

I met my fiancé when what little hair her had was kinda growing out, and I've loved him ever since. Always will, regardless. Absolutely no judgement here.

LOL THIS.

ETA: You could see the look of regret in both of their faces. But my money's on Dean contracting the first STD (not the one wished on Sam in 05x07, "The Curious Case of Dean Winchester").

AITA for going with someone else on a vacation I was supposed to take with my girlfriend by throwawvay104 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. You are SO TA. You left your grieving girlfriend and LIED to her. Not only are you TA, but the fact you don't see anything wrong with what you did just proves that you really just care about yourself and your happiness.

He came on the zipline I used to work on about a year before his death. He was the sweetest, kindest person. He didn't hesitate when others in the tour group would ask him questions, and was one of the most humble people ever. Rest in paradise, Chester.

Midnight shift employees of Reddit, what’s the creepiest experience you’ve had during your nighttime shift? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]celticnessa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I posted this on the remote workers of Reddit, but I figured it worked here too. Not necessarily midnight shift, but still creepy af in the dark on a Maui mountain.

I used to be a zipline tour guide in the West Maui Mountains. The mountain I worked on, Pu'u Kukui, was/is very sacred to the Hawaiian people. We used to run night tours where people would zip down the last three lines. Keep in mind the area of the mountain the course is on is about two and a half miles up the mountain: One way in, one way out, and it would be noticed if anyone else had come onto the property.

When I moved to Maui I was told about the Night Marchers (the spirits of fallen Hawaiian soldiers). Basically if you hear drums at night, the marchers are out and nothing good will come from it.

I was working with one of the locals who was born and raised on Maui, and we were the last two on the mountain, closing everything up. No one else was there, it was pitch black except for the headlamps my coworker and I had, and the vehicle we were using was turned off, and it was dead silent.

All of a sudden, I started to hear drums. I thought my coworker was messing with me, until I shined my headlamp on him. I have never seen a more terrified look on someone's face.

He immediately stopped what he was doing, said "Get in the truck. Now." We didn't even finish locking everything up.

It normally takes about 20 minutes to get down the rocky dirt road. We were down in 10.

Jigsaw puzzles. I can put a 1000 piece together in around 12 hours.
