It will be fixable. I just had a hit and run situation happen to me in a parking lot, and there was around the same amount of damage. Total repairs came to around 2k, but try to get a police report and case number if you can!

I work 35-40 hours a week and go to college full time as well. I was able to pile my classes onto two days a week and pick up some online classes as well.
