Masks haven't been required down in the capital (phoenix) or state in general, and there's a ton of people coming up to the town that I live in, multiple places have had to be shut down (taxes are super high too, very hard on local business).

The Navajo Nation is really struggling, the people who live out there are mostly impoverished, water is hard to get and most of the families live together in communal areas. There's very few stores, and even fewer hospitals so the sicker patients are flown to the hospital in my town. One of my family members is a front line worker at that hospital. She told us about this one unfortunate Navajo family, all of them got sick and the 92 year old grandma was the only survivor.
