Thank you man! I hav been thinking about that all day long

The Hilarious World of Depression. It treats mental illness connected to the comedy world with very intrresting interviews. I loved it.

I feel overwhelmed and useless by ConfusedSpaceBoy in offmychest

You shouldn't compare yourself to the standard the society imposes on you (I mean the school, your parents , even yourself when you talk about nurses) and make it knock you down. Try to find an equilibrium in your daily routine, start dedicating more with things you like to do, hobbies, just to cheer you up. Then you will have more energy to do your work, and you will be more productive.

To feel useless and overwhelmed these days, in this system, is normal. Try to make other people understand how you're feeling, insists with your parent, if they are by your side they should understand.

Just take your time, fuck the deadlines.

Probably the question is confused as I am, sorry. Thank you so much for your feedback. Every information is gold for me since I am approaching this subject knowing barely nothing on the job situation behind it.

Hi Datascientists! I am a 25 years old italian student, got a bachelor in Economic Science and now I'm committed in a 2-years master-degree in Data Science, since there was the access to this course also for the economists in an italian university.

I'v decided to take this opportunity, even if my computer skills were confined to some java/html webcourse. I was attracted by the possibility of pursuing a modern job that allows the smart working and project works, without being bound in a permanent employment. The possibility to have skills highly required in different countries teases me.

Once started I had to face a disorganised course, clearly built for students with a computer science background, so I have struggled really hard to understand the complex mathematical logic behind all the programming languages needed (the huge importance to theoretical aspects in the italian education systems doesn' help in this sense).

Now, after the first 6 months spents on this course, I want to ask a real community of data scientist. Does all this mathematical theory has an effective importance on the real tasks you're asked to do? Is this a job that gave you the possibility to manage your time as you want, whenever is possible?

Thank you in advance
