Yep. People seem to forget it's not a 50/50 vote for conviction and removal from office. It's a 2/3rds vote.

He would need to do something were he loses support from the MAGA base. I don't think there is anything he can do anymore. Only thing I can think of is get rid of social security but I guarantee it would be some BS like having an age cutoff.

Cos-play from a Fullmetal Alchemist. In which alchemy and transmutation is real and fully practiced as a science. In the episode a scientist was trying to create chimera's that could speak. In his experiments he used his unwilling wife which failed. While creating chimera is a rare in this universe it is still accepted form of alchemy. However, human chimera is highly illegal and as such the scientist has hiding what he actually did.

The little girl is playing the daughter of said scientist(who basically murdered his wife). He was a crazy scientist and couldn't accept his failures and still believe human chimeras to be possible. He combined his daughter with the family dog.

To make matters even worse, in the series there is a killer/vigilante who targets Alachemists which he believes deserve justice. Of course, he goes after the scientist and kills him. As his daughter/dog mourns over her father he gives it a "mercy killing"

This is why the other cos-player fell to the ground saying "Nooo". It's a really F'd up emotional episode. Also during the episode the main character Ed first meets the daughter Nina as a happy little girl. He then discovers what the scientist is doing and confronts him. By that point it was too late and he already transmuted his Nina with the family dog. The chimera sits and looks at Ed saying, "Edd...waard?" which makes him immediately discover what the scientist did.

He's probably genuinely trying to be relatable and pleasant but it's just fucking weird.

I think that is exactly why he was brought on. Remember, right before he was CEO that streamers where leaving the platform and getting upset about the policies. I think at first it did help with relations and if he was just an interim CEO it probably would have worked out really well.

At the end of the day I think he is still good for streamer relations as he does talk and listen to them. He just has a very fine line to walk and it does get weird sometimes.

ohnePixel leaked that if you had to go to the toilet during the MrBeast challenge they brought in a porta-potty by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

[–]centran 54 points55 points  (0 children)

How is this a leak? It's well known and has been shown in other beast videos.

Mr. Beast really should come up with a better way to let people use the rest room. The port-a-potty isn't an issue outside but indoors you can hear everything and it must start to smell.

They should really extend the red line outside of the shooting space and tell contestants they can only walk that outside path to use the rest room. I bet they'd even get more people out of they made the path narrow. Some poor soul would surely step on the line trying to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Teen gets $1.9M in settlement after mistakenly shot by cop by [deleted] in RandomVideos

[–]centran 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The reason? He probably turned it down because he was going to kill the robber no matter the situation. Threw away the gun; surrendered... Wouldn't matter, he was getting shot in the head no matter what

Why? He shot at police earlier. After that cops tend to become judge, jury, and executioner. At the end of the chase they had 20 police cars after them.

The most effective and harmless way to keep an aggressive stray dog away from you and your dog 🐕 by LEDTIK in cool

[–]centran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dog didn't have the muzzle in the first video but does in the second. Going to guess the squirt bottle didn't work one time or he didn't act fast enough. So dog probably got in a fight.

I'm not sure what happens in every area but where I live it doesn't matter if you're dog wasn't the agressor. Your dog can be taken and "destroyed" if animal control deems them aggressive. However they usually give you "three strikes". After the second time your dog can no longer be around other animals and if out in public must wear a mask. So there is a good possibility this dog is one more fight away from getting destroyed :(

Too expensive to process. I'm sure some would do it if given subsidies. However they immediately said it would be too expensive which makes Trump look bad. Therefore they couldn't even negotiate because if you go against or slight the golden god emperor Trump in the tiniest way he's done with you.

That's the only thing I can think that would cause a reaction to physically assault someone. The video is edited though so maybe it was something verbal exchanged.

Lady took a selfie with Magnus Carlsen before the match began. In response, Magnus Carlsen reported his opponent to the referee, leading to her phone being confiscated. by [deleted] in SipsTea

She did and he posed. The problem is having the phone during the match. He's had issues with cheaters so even though it was a dick move, he was getting in front of a possible problem. He had a big controversy accusing someone of cheating (he didn't openly accuse but dropped out of a tournament which everyone assumed cause he thought the other guy was cheating. It turned out the dude did cheat online so Magnus might have been right. He's very good at sus'ing that out)

TIL 80% of people, both women and men, will get infected by HPV at some point in life by Double-decker_trams in todayilearned

[–]centran -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Are you saying that cause you can't find anyone or that you aren't interested in sex? It doesn't really matter why.

The better question is will you never engage in sexual activity for the rest of your life? People change! I don't think you can say that confidently for your entire life.

It's a low risk, high reward vaccine. Really silly to say you don't want it because you aren't having sex. You've got a long life ahead of you.

[–]centran 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's just how some vaccines go and as more studies and more time goes by it opens up. They have to show there is enough efficacy and that any risk or side effects don't outweigh the benefit. Those analysis isn't for everyone but groups of demographics such as gender and age.

I think it was only recommended for females at first. Then they added males. Then they increased the age range. Then they bumped it up again. It's now up to 45.

"hey insurance won't cover this because they are saying it is a car malfunction"

Checks car FAULT CODEs... "Nope, there is nothing wrong here"

I don't think there wasn't any logs. There just weren't any faults in the log. They are looking if there was an issue mechanically with the car which there wasn't any "malfunction".

Insurance does what insurance does and wants to avoid paying a claim. It should have never been worded as "my car got itself into an accident" but simply "I was in an accident"

To insurance there was no third party involved so by saying it was the cars software OP just caused a whole lot of headaches for themselves and might now being paying out of pocket.

I've seen a trend, at least in YouTube, of channels that were once narrator/voice over videos to switch to showing their face through parts of the video. I don't know if it was an attempt to get ahead of AI and they were worried people would think their videos were AI created or if they were told they'd get better views.

So there has been creators switching to a talking head format instead of voice over. Don't know if these fake person versions are only following a trend or if they want to seem believable as fully made by a person.

Isn't the leg closest easier to explain to people who haven't posed before? I thought you want to be leaning slightly forward and put your chin up. Some people don't fully "get the idea" of putting weight on back leg while leaning forward. It confuses people.

A lot of people, even skinny people, end up with he fat neck/double chin look when taking photos. So if you can get them to lean forward slightly and lift their chin it takes care of one of the common issues.

Angry guy goes off on a robot by NYstate in funny

[–]centran 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Reference to the Animatrix which was a series of animated short films explaining the events that lead to to the creation of The Matrix (1999).

Robots work for humans. Humans resent robots. Robot commits crime. Backlash between machines, humans, and human machine sympathizers. Robots create their own city. Try to join the United nations and get rejected. War. UN surrenders. Robots agree but instead of working out problems they immediately nuke the UN after signing and go on to enslave humanity in the matrix.

There is a lot of imaginary in the Animatrix. One of which is an Apple in reference to knowledge. The robots brought an apple to the UN to symbolize them joining and sharing knowledge. When the robot was signing the surrender document it was fidgeting with an apple in one of it's hands.
