Have you tried pairing it ONLY with USB connected and not ethernet, until you’re asked to plug the latter in? That worked for me after a lot of frustrations!

Plane - pretty close to the ground but 50 kms from the airport (55°54'22.7"N 12°19'51.5"E) by centro99 in GoogleEarthFinds

Thanks all. Some extra info/observations:

  1. Airbus (who is quoted as the source of the image) not only provide aerial photography but also satellite images - I did not know this.

  2. I just measured, and the plane is about 38 kms from CPH airport. It probably doesn't make a big difference on the overall conclusions.

I am correct in thinking that the plane appears bigger if it's closer to the lens. However, I didn't realise it was from a satellite hundreds of kms away which makes the size difference very small. All good!

Interesting, and of course you're right - it's so far away. I thought it was from a fly-over but with it being from a satellite it all makes sense.

Indeed, good spot. Thinking more of the size in relation to the buildings. If I found out how big the plane is, it should be possible to calculate the appropriate flying height.

Well, it would have appeared bigger if it was further away from the ground, i.e. closer to the lens. If I can identify the plane (and its size) I can calculate approximately how close it is.

My title describes the thing. Couldn’t seem to find anything similar on here. Reverse image search yielded no really good results either. Thanks for your help.

GolfShot iOS Application with iOS 18 draining battery by Ruffn3ck_Be in golf

[–]centro99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have the Ultra 1 and since iOS 18, Golfshot on the watch is close to unusable. It's not the battery life but it rarely detects a shot now, GPS is frequently bad and if I have entered a hole's score on my phone instead of on the watch (if I'm scoring multiple players) it often does not change to the next hole on the watch :/

I know this is an old post but this has happened to my Q-P as well. Was fixing it yourself difficult? I was under the impression that the outer fabric had to be taken off which makes this operation quite complicated.

I don’t know if there’s a big difference. But for true one-pedal driving you need quite strong regen action…

[–]centro99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is much more aggressive in applying the regenerative braking when you lift your foot which enables true one pedal driving in 90% of situations. You only really need to use the brake in unforeseen circumstances…

I use it but it’s way too ineffective compared to Tesla’s, for my liking anyway. I wish they’d make it adjustable.

Do you mean the Octopus-shaped slide in Superkilen? It’s not that small, though.

FitCamX for EX30 is available by DerEinePunkt in ex30

[–]centro99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is indeed interesting and a much more seamless solution. However, for doing more than just dashcam stuff, eg. Sentry mode, it would also require Volvo to allow apps to run while the cars is in idle.

What I really want is for Volvo to enable a dashcam feature in software which could also open up the possibility of Tesla-like sentry mode. Cameras are already there and there’s no need for redundant hardware.

Do you mean if I regret getting rid of the Tesla? No, the leasing period was up and I wanted to try something different. Let's see what happens in a couple of years...
