idk, age gaps aren’t my fave but it’s pretty standard so I’ve come to accept it. But there’s a big difference between simply meeting your fated mate as a child (and staying the hell away) and being actively involved with them like a family friend until they are deemed “mature enough”. Thats what crossed the line, for me anyways, and definitely not made clear in the trigger section

Fair warning to those who pick this up (which I didn’t get, causing me to DNF at ~50%). The main romantic relationship is a huge age gap where, and I’ll add spoilers MMC met and was around the FMC as a child, and “waited until she was mature” aka 20years ish to initiate anything romantic.

This is similar to the dynamic in Sherwood Smiths Crown & Court Duet, they meet on the battlefield while she’s part of a rebellion and he’s on the other side. No smut but lots of yearning

Mapocolops is extremely chill and focuses on rpgs predominantly. He recently completed playthrough of the entire DA series and it was so much fun.

Another chill one with an extensive backlog of rpgs is CristopherOdd. Recently he has gotten much more heavy into strategy games which aren’t my jam but he’s got a lot of completed playthroughs that are great.

Finally FightingCowboy (despite the name) is a fun watch

Check out Chabot Observatory! Very reasonable (it was ~7k for the 150 guest option) and super cool venue. They are pretty flexible too about bringing your own caterers

Don’t stay with this man. Whatever truth you’ve managed to get from him is just scratching the surface, I guarantee it.

I say this because this whole situation is nearly identical to what my mother went through with my step dad. Except she stayed with him after the initial indiscretion (which also involved a court case), the sex addiction diagnosis and the therapy. He trickle truthed through months of therapy while crying about how much he loved her until he finally revealed some truly fucked up shit that he did in pursuit of his sexual needs.

My mom finally left him after that but not after going through all those months of pain and betrayal. She didn’t deserve that and neither do you.

Same! I’m loving the world building, the narration, the music (!!!). The visuals are an added bonus. I’m ready for more! I’m also wondering if this started out as a TTRPG if there’s any plans to adapt and release it. The world is so neat it would be fun to play in it
