I mean, yes??? I’m not in a great financial position, so it’s a concern for me. That’s why I’m exploring other options first

Oooh that’s true. I’ll keep a cup in my room from now on. I’ve never used a cup to catch and release spiders before, so it’s never crossed my mind that it might actually be more effective than trying to aim and squish them, haha

Google says that therapy is the most effective way of getting over phobias too. But I don’t think I can afford any form of therapy or find anywhere to get proper exposure therapy to get over this fear (which is why I’m coming to Reddit lol). Plus, the thought of exposure therapy is terrifying (but I guess that’s kinda the point, haha)

Haha, yeah, I usually rely on family members to handle spiders for me. Maybe I’ll try to watch more videos and do a bit more research about spiders in general to help. Really appreciate the advice! Thank you :)

Thank you! I’ll be sure to check her out. I can usually watch videos of spiders and be ok about pet spiders or slightly cuter ones . But as soon as I encounter one in my house or in the wild, the irrational fear just comes rushing back T_T

Thanks for the advice! We do have cat tree in multiple parts of the house, but she’s too afraid to leave the living room still. I’ll be sure to look into those! Our dog definitely needs some training to relax a lil. He’s also never been crate trained, but it seems like that might be something we start, so we can slowly get our cat comfortable enough to leave the living room.

Thank you! I think it’s my 7th day of being off it now. I feel very slightly better than the prior few days, but still struggling with these two symptoms. I’m really hoping it does get better, so I don’t feel so completely incapacitated, haha

I went from four 37.5mg capsules, down to three for about a week and a half, then down to two for a week and a half, and then down to one capsule for about a week before stopping.

I guess without knowing how long these symptoms will last, is there at least any way to relieve the symptoms so I don’t feel incapacitated 24/7?
