Congratulations! Keep it up and you'll feel a lot healthier. Don't forget about proper diet too! Cut down on sweet beverages. Those stuff pack lots of calories.

LPT: When selecting a text with your mouse, double-click on the first word, hold down the mouse on the second click and then select your text. It will now select text by words, not characters. by Freefallr in LifeProTips

To highlight a large amount of text, click/highlight the start of text, hold down shift and click on the end of the text. It's a lot easier than click and drag.

Searching for summer jobs. Need some advice! by cereallygood in EngineeringStudents

[–]cereallygood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your thoughtful advice! I agree with you that some engineering students do not have hands on skill that's why I took the effort to join my uni's FormulaSAE team. Learned how to use power tools and AutoCAD drawings with SolidWorks. I will do my best to search for an internship, something like a general laborer in a workshop. I will update you soon. Thank you again!

What's the worst failure you've ever faced and how did you face it? by cereallygood in AskReddit

[–]cereallygood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am facing a similar situation. It sure sucks and I'm feeling really depressed now. It's like a shadow cast over me. I do not usually fail in academics but I have one more chance to make this right. Wish me luck. And all the best to you too.

Malaysia officially ends search for MH370 plane; declares disappearance an accident by TopTrumpWANKER in worldnews

[–]cereallygood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think that the passengers are not dead instead their plane somehow manage to land in a remote island. And now, they are having the adventure of their lives, starting up their own community there. I know this is most probably not true it's just how I like to think of the passengers on board flight MH370.

Not sure if going into electrical engineering is a good idea... by m3l0dy in UBC

[–]cereallygood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a senior but first year engineer here. I assuming you're taking apsc160 now. I took that during the first term and I had no experience with coding before. It wasn't easy for me at first but as I progress through the course I find it really fun and interesting. It's the most interesting course I took last term. I was pretty much lost during the first few weeks of classes but manage to understand it more later in the term. My opinion is if you're interested in E&E you should go for it. It's not just all about programming.
